Closing the eyes and just arriving,
Settling into this present moment,
Giving space to transition and just allowing yourself,
This moment in time,
To come to rest.
The weight and solidity of the body and the points of contact,
The back resting,
Connection to the surface beneath you,
Your hands resting in your lap,
By your side,
Just allowing that awareness to bring you deeper into this moment and then just take a nice slow deep breath in and a slow release,
Do that again,
Long slow deep breath in and as you release,
Just letting go and take a few more deep breaths,
Inviting the mind and the body to come into rest and then returning to the natural rhythm of the breath,
Aware of the space around you,
The emptiness of space and the expansion of space that's always around you and then bringing the awareness into the space inside,
The space within us,
The space within the cavity of the body and noticing the brief spaces between the words,
The space that exists in those tiny moments where one word finishes and before the next one begins,
The stillness,
Even the emptiness and the space between breaths,
That brief moment at the top of the breath when you breathe in,
That moment when you breathe out,
The deep stillness that exists in that space and that flow and connection of the breath as it moves effortlessly through your body,
From the moment it enters at the tip of your nose,
Through your nasal passages,
Down the throat,
Into the lungs and then oxygenating your blood and flowing throughout your body,
Every breath connecting you,
Connecting you to yourself and connecting you to everything,
This simple but necessary act of breathing,
Giving life and continue to stay connected with the breath and allow the breath to guide you,
To take you deeper and let it move you from this form into the space within where we are formless,
Connecting to our deeper,
Self,
The part of us that came here to experience,
To experience this life and everything it offers and if you notice you've drifted off in thought,
Just choosing to favour the meditation for a moment,
Choosing to come back to stillness and space,
Noticing the fullness of space,
Connecting deeper and settling into that space within where everything is well,
Where there is no past,
No future,
Just the deep and present moment,
Perhaps noticing what wants to emerge from this stillness,
What whisper wants to be heard,
Letting go of any resistance and surrendering to this moment,
Recognising that you are no thing and everything and you might want to sow a seed of intention into this fertile soil of stillness,
Simply set an intention and then let it go and bring your awareness back to your breath,
Becoming aware of the rise and fall of the body as you breathe and the journey of the breath into the body and out of the body,
The awareness of this body that we're in,
The weight,
The physicality,
The points of contact,
The back,
The surface beneath,
The hands,
The feet,
Connected,
Grounded,
In the context of the space that we're in,
The room,
The sounds,
The temperatures,
And taking in a nice slow deep breath and release,
And one more time,
A nice slow deep breath in and release,
And when you're ready,
Opening the eyes,
Having a stretch,
