Hi and welcome to this guided meditation.

I just want to offer you the opportunity to dive deeper into this visualisation.

So before you get comfortable,

There's a little method that may help.

Begin to scan the surrounding area,

The room or the space that you're in.

Looking behind you,

Up,

To the left and to the right.

Now,

Allowing yourself to find a comfortable position,

Whether that be lay down or sat down.

Allowing yourself to fully relax.

Now,

As we start this spring energy clearing meditation,

Allow the eyes to begin to relax.

Now inviting you to allow the eyes to soften.

Can you recall what the space or the room that you're in looks like?

Really allow your memory to show you any images that you can remember from before the eyes were closed.

Allowing us to activate that imaginative visualising part of our brain.

Now,

Just allow these images to pass and start to connect with the breath.

Just noticing,

Not changing.

Becoming aware of how you feel through the rhythm of your breath.

Now,

Beginning to take some slower breaths in.

Breathing in slowly through the nose.

And then blowing out the air through pursed lips at the mouth.

Breathing in and breathing out.

With each and every inhalation,

Imagining calm,

Relaxed feeling.

And with each breath out,

Blowing out any tension,

Any stress or any worries.

Breathing in calm and breathing out stress.

Now,

Allowing the breath to just become as it normally would.

Trusting in the abundant wisdom of your body to breathe for you.

Now,

Begin to take a scan of the body from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head.

Just becoming aware of any tension.

As you scan,

Can you begin to breathe into any areas of tension?

Allowing them to calm,

Relax and relieve through each and every breath.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Just as you are.

If your mind begins to wander at any point,

Just bring yourself back to the breath.

To the cycle of breathing in and breathing out.

Now,

With the power of your imagination,

I'd like you to picture yourself standing in the middle of a large garden.

There's lots of things to notice in this garden.

There's trees and flowers in many colours and many sizes.

Take a look around and notice if there's anything that catches your eye.

Perhaps a bench or a hammock.

In one corner of the garden,

Right next to the shed,

You notice a rake and some other garden tools.

Gazing up,

You see a blue,

Clear,

Expansive sky and you feel the warmth of the sun on your face.

There is a gentle spring breeze and it soothes you.

Looking around again,

You notice that there is a gate at one side of the garden that leads into a clear path.

Spending a few minutes in all the beautiful colours,

Breathing the scents of the trees and the flowers,

You begin to realise that the garden symbolises your life and all of the experiences up until this present moment.

With this thought,

You begin to notice so much more about this garden.

So many plants,

Budding flowers and lots of dried up,

Crumpled leaves behind you from autumn and winter.

They're here and there.

You see areas where the leaves are packed down,

Blocking some of the plants from reaching the sunlight.

These leaves represent negative experiences,

Feelings or messages that you have received,

Beliefs or energies from the past.

Deciding it's your time to clear the space,

You grab the rake and you begin to create piles a distance away from the beautiful trees,

Plants and other flowers that you have planted throughout the years.

Once you have cleared all the dead leaves and the pile is ready,

You decide to burn and get rid of the leaves permanently.

You know that other leaves will come,

But you can clear them as you maintain your garden.

Setting fire to these leaves,

You watch the smoke rise higher and higher.

As the fire burns out,

You'll feel lighter and free.

You are able to open your mind and your heart to new experiences,

Positivity and good health,

And you start to feel this through every cell of your being.

Reaching in your pockets now,

You find some seeds that you have been meaning to plant for quite a while.

You plant these seeds with intention,

Patting them down into the earth.

As time passes,

They grow stronger and healthier,

Second by second.

Even though you cannot see them,

You know that they are under the surface,

Germinating,

Sprouting and pushing their way back up through the earth into the light.

Trusting this process,

You can leave nature to do its work.

You are now free to relax,

Maybe in that hammock or on that bench.

Just enjoy the beauty of this spring clearing.

Now returning back to the breath.

Find it flowing smoothly and easily.

Your heart and your mind have so much room for all the new things you want to grow and flourish.

Bringing awareness to your body,

Emotions and thoughts.

Noticing how you feel renewed and refreshed.

Become really aware of this,

So that in the future,

You know when you need to tend to your garden the most.

Now,

With them feelings,

Bring them back into this space with you.

Wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Taking a nice deep breath.

And maybe stretching as you awaken yourself back into the present moment.
