Welcome to Day 1 of the Navratri Meditation Journey.
During these 9 sacred days of Navratri,
We connect with 9 powerful forms of Divine Feminine.
Each day represents a different energy within us,
An aspect of strength,
Wisdom and transformation.
Today,
We begin with the first form of the Goddess,
Shalputri.
The name Shalputri means daughter of the mountain.
She represents stability,
Grounding and inner strength.
Just like a mountain stands firm through storms,
Winds and seasons,
Shalputri reminds us that we too have the power to remain steady,
Even when life feels uncertain.
In spiritual symbolism,
The mountain represents the foundation of our inner journey.
Before we seek success,
Happiness or spiritual growth,
We must first build a strong inner foundation.
In today's fast-moving world,
Many of us feel scattered.
Our minds jump between worries about the future,
Regrets about the past and endless responsibilities.
The energy of Shalputri gently guides us back to ground ourselves,
To reconnect with the present moment and to rediscover the strength that already lives within us.
Today's meditation will help you release mental chaos and create a deep sense of stability and calm within your mind.
We will now chant the mantra of Shalputri 11 times.

The mantra is Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Aum Devi Shalputre Namah Allow the vibrations of the mantra to settle in your heart.
Now,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow deep breath in and slowly breathe out.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale gently.
Let your breathing become natural.
Now,
Imagine yourself standing near a majestic mountain.
Tall,
Powerful and completely still.
Feel the strength of the mountain beneath your feet.
Solid,
Unmoving,
Stable.
As you breathe in,
Imagine drawing this mountain strength into your body.
As you breathe out,
Release all restlessness,
All worries,
All mental noise.
With every breath,
Your mind becomes calm.
Your body becomes more relaxed.
Imagine roots growing gently from your feet,
Deep into the earth.
Just like the mountain,
You are now grounded and steady.
No matter what challenges life brings,
You remain calm,
Centered and balanced.
Now,
Silently repeat within yourself.
I am stable.
I am grounded.
I am stronger than my worries.
Feel the divine presence of Shailputri guiding you,
Blessing you with courage and stability.
Allow yourself to rest in this peaceful stillness.
Slowly,
Bring awareness back to your breath.
Take one deep breath in and gently release it.
Today,
Carry the energy of Shailputri within you.
Whenever life feels overwhelming,
Remember the mountain within you.
Stable,
Strong and unshaken.
