Welcome to this guided journey to meet your future self,

The version of you who has stepped fully into your potential.

In this practice,

We'll explore your future self with curiosity,

Self-compassion,

And a sense of possibility,

Allowing you to gain clarity and inspiration for your path forward.

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.

Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.

Whether you're sitting or lying down,

Let yourself relax into stillness.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze if that feels comfortable for you.

Begin by taking a few deep breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Let each breath guide you into the present moment,

Grounding you in the here and now.

Let's start by tuning into your body.

Notice the points of contact between your body and the ground or the chair.

Feel the natural rhythm of your breath as it flows in and out.

Bring your awareness to this moment,

Letting go of any distractions or judgments.

And if your mind wanders,

Gently guide it back to your breath with kindness and patience.

Now place a hand over your heart or rest your hands comfortably in your lap,

Offering yourself a moment of gratitude for being here.

You've carved out this time to connect with yourself,

And that is something to honor.

Now imagine yourself standing at the beginning of a path.

This path represents your journey through life.

Look around and notice its details.

What does it look like?

Are there trees,

Flowers,

Or open skies?

Feel the ground beneath your feet as you begin to walk forward,

Step by step.

In the distance,

You see someone waiting for you.

This is your future self.

The version of you who has grown into their full potential.

They have navigated life's challenges with grace and have embraced all that is important to them.

As you approach,

Notice their energy.

What is it about them that stands out?

Take a moment to arrive fully in their presence.

Now take a closer look at your future self.

Notice their expression,

Their posture,

The way they carry themselves.

What qualities or strengths do they embody?

You might sense courage,

Wisdom,

Joy,

Or peace radiating from them.

Ask them gently,

What is important to you?

What values have guided your choices and actions?

Listen for their response.

Their words may come as a thought,

An image,

Or even a feeling.

However they appear,

Trust that they are just what you need in this moment.

Next,

Ask your future self,

What do you want me to know about the path ahead?

Allow their message to unfold naturally.

It might be advice,

Encouragement,

Or a simple reminder of what matters most.

Finally,

Ask them,

What is one step I can take today to grow closer to you?

Let their response come to you with clarity and kindness.

As you stand with your future self,

Take a moment to notice the compassion they have for you.

They see you as you are now,

With all your struggles and successes,

And they offer you unconditional love and understanding.

Imagine their kindness flowing toward you like a warm light,

Surrounding you completely,

And filling you with a sense of safety and possibility.

Know that their strength and wisdom are already within you.

They have been guiding you all along.

This future self is not separate from you.

They are the fullness of who you are becoming.

Now thank your future self for their guidance,

And know that you can return to them whenever you need insight or encouragement.

As you begin to walk back along the path,

Feel the connection between you and your future self growing stronger with each step.

Carry their wisdom and compassion with you as you return to this moment.

Take a deep breath in,

Anchoring this experience in your heart,

And a slow breath out,

Releasing any tension or doubt.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

And bring gentle movement back to your body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Returning fully to the present.
