This is a contemplative reflection on patience as acceptance, presence, and trust in life’s unfolding - written and read by Daga. This recording serves as an invitation to reflect on your relationship to patience. You are invited to listen slowly, allowing the words to land in their own time. There is nothing to achieve and nothing to fix. This reflection can be listened to in stillness, during a quiet walk, or whenever you feel drawn to slow down and reconnect with yourself. You are welcome to return to this recording whenever you need a reminder of ease, presence, and the freedom of not forcing.

Hello,

My name is Daga.

I'd like to share a short piece I wrote as a reflection on patience.

Patience is not an expectation of a certain reward,

Nor is it a demand for things to be a particular way,

Nor is it waiting for this one thing to happen.

Patience doesn't feed itself on results,

And it is not deterred by pain,

Nor is it discouraged by misfortune.

It is a gentle acceptance of life unfolding in its own rhythm.

It is a loving embrace of discomfort and uncertainty with trust and confidence that whatever arises is right.

It is the freedom to take the next breath,

The respect for the truth of this moment.

It is the ease of not forcing.

It is the openness to flow.
