And when you are ready,
Beginning the practice with an intention to be kind,
Knowing and trusting that sitting to practice in this way is an act of kindness,
An act of deep friendship for yourself and for others.
And when you are ready,
Beginning to be with your breathing and allowing your breath to be just as it is.
Allowing yourself to be just as you are.
Knowing and trusting that you are just as you need to be.
There is nothing wrong that everything belongs in this moment.
Just as it is.
And you belong to just as you are.
And knowing and trusting that there is nothing to do now.
This is a letting go of thinking and doing.
This is a resting into beingness.
Letting yourself rest into being.
And noticing when you are thinking again.
And letting go of that thought with so much kindness and compassion and care.
Gently coming back.
Your beautiful breath.
Feeling the breath move like waves through the body.
Feeling the body breathing.
Letting the body breathe itself.
Resting with the waves of the breath.
And allowing those waves to bring you home.
To bring you home to yourself.
To bring you home to this moment.
To the only moment we can ever be in.
Allowing the waves of your breath to bring you home.
Home to yourself.
Noticing when you are thinking again.
Because it is the nature of the mind to think.
Just as it is the nature of the heart to beat.
But letting go of any thoughts as they arise.
Because it is only a thought.
It doesn't have to mean anything.
We can notice it.
And with compassion and kindness for the thinking mind,
We can let it go.
And gently allow the breath to bring us home to presence.
And resting now in this sea of presence.
There is so much space.
Infinite space.
You have so much space.
You can rest here.
Using this space with compassion.
So that you are resting in a sea of loving,
Compassionate presence.
So that you are breathing in and breathing out loving,
Compassionate presence.
So that you feel yourself becoming compassionate presence.
So that you are breathing in and breathing out loving,
Compassionate presence.
Trusting and knowing that this is who you truly are.
This is your true nature.
Compassionate presence.
Noticing how you feel now.
In your body and in your mind.
And just trusting and knowing that whatever way you feel in this moment,
It's okay.
Feelings and sensations are.
And that you belong.
