Activating the Manipura chakra or the solar plexus chakra cultivates a willingness to gain insight into an understanding of power,
Individuality and identity.
In some people,
A misaligned solar plexus chakra can make skillful self-expression challenging.
In some,
It manifests as overly rigid or controlling behavior.
In others,
It breeds a victim mentality,
Neediness and lack of direction or self-esteem,
Not being able to stand up and take positive action.
The solar plexus chakra is the center of one's vitality and personal power.
Let's begin the meditation with a few deep breaths.
And as you take these deep breaths,
Let yourself soften into the present moment.
Let go of whatever was challenging for you today and help yourself arrive more fully right here and now.
Notice your body wherever you're seated.
Maybe you're sitting on a chair or couch or bed.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Feeling the solidity of the floor.
Feeling the connection between your feet and the ground.
Feel the support.
And always remind yourself that it is within you.
Stay with the present moment.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Noticing other parts of the body softening.
Resting.
Feel your pelvis.
Notice the stomach area.
Take another deep breath while softening your stomach area.
Feel your hands and fingers and let them be soft.
Let them to rest at your solar plexus area just above your navel.
Observe your belly as you inhale and exhale.
Notice the general rise of your belly when you take a breath in.
And observe how it softly presses against your spine when you breathe out.
See if there are any tight spots across your abdomen.
And invite more breath and energy there.
Begin to visualize a warm yellow light almost like sunlight at the center of your belly.
Imagine and feel this light whirling in you and filling you with feelings of motivation and power.
Recognize now that this is your solar plexus.
Start to shift to a more rhythmic,
Deeper inhale breath deep into this chakra.
And exhaling slowly,
Rhythmically.
Allowing now this breath to build more heat in the body.
Feel now this heat build up from the pit of your belly up to your rib cage.
And the light whirling in your throat.
As you inhale,
Imagine as though you're inviting more feelings of motivation and power.
As you exhale,
Let go of any other negative attitudes that weigh and slow you down.
Let them go.
You don't need them.
Breathing.
Now repeating after me either silently or out loud.
I honor the power within me.
I honor myself.
I accomplish tasks easily and effortlessly.
And the fire within me burns through all blocks and fears.
I can do everything that I desire.
I stand in my power.
I am strong.
I release judgment of others and of myself.
I am manifesting easily and gracefully.
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of kindness.
And I am worthy of respect.
Breathing in.
Exhaling.
Believing.
Feeling.
Take a moment here in silence to rest in this embodied awareness.
There you go.
Just feeling.
As we end this meditation,
Take a moment to express gratitude towards yourself for taking time to cultivate this practice.
Know that today you have done very powerful work in cleansing,
Healing,
And activating your solar plexus chakra.
Slowly and gently.
You can open your eyes.
Begin to move your hands and your feet.
And let yourself reconnect to your surroundings.
