This Holi Special story-led meditation invites you into a luminous liminal world - a place where the sky meets itself at an infinite horizon, designed to help the overthinking mind widen and soften. You’ll be guided into a vast white-gold field where mist rises gently from the horizon, and soft streaks of colour drift through the air — saffron, rose, turquoise, violet, amber, and indigo — dissolving into light as thoughts release and transform. As you move through this expansive fairytale space, your breath and body are subtly supported, allowing mental pressure to ease without force. Through horizon imagery, heart anchoring, and gentle third-eye awareness, thoughts are not silenced, but allowed to become colour dust that drifts, rises, and dissolves naturally into openness. You may return to this practice whenever the mind feels crowded, restless, or racing. A place to reset perspective, restore clarity, and remember: the horizon within you is always wider than the thought.

Welcome to The Horizon Within,

A guided fairytale reset for the overthinking mind.

I am Sharvee from Enroute Angels,

And I will guide you on this journey today.

This meditation is for a part of you that races,

Solves,

Or holds too much at once.

But today,

Nothing needs to be figured out.

Just listen to my voice and visualize.

Before we begin,

Make sure you are in a quiet space where you can feel comfortable listening to this meditation.

Please don't listen to this while driving or doing anything that requires your full attention.

This is your time,

So find a comfortable spot and allow your body to settle.

As you settle,

Let your hands rest softly,

Drop your shoulders,

Relax your jaws,

And as you settle in,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Hold it gently and breathe out through your mouth.

One more time.

Inhale slowly.

Hold it gently and breathe out through your mouth,

Releasing any tension you've been carrying.

Soften your forehead.

Relax your fingers and toes.

Let your breath deepen and allow yourself to be fully present here in this moment.

Let your body settle into the support beneath you.

Take one more deep breath in.

Hold it gently and breathe out through your mouth.

Allow your breathing to become natural.

Notice the breath as it enters.

Notice the breath as it leaves.

Now gently bring your breath to the center of your chest,

Into the heart cavity,

Your heart chakra.

Notice what's present there.

Warmth,

Tightness,

Silence,

Or even numbness.

Whatever is present,

Allow it.

Stay here for a few more breaths.

As your attention rests in the heart space,

Imagine a white room.

White gold light beginning to gather in the center of your chest.

With each inhale,

Feel the white gold light expand gently within the heart.

With each exhale,

Feel it become more stable,

Warmer,

And clearer.

Breathe naturally,

And as it grows,

The space in front of you begins to widen,

Opening a passage before you.

Focus your attention there.

If any thoughts arise,

Let them pass through.

If your focus drifts,

Gently bring it back into your heart space,

And continue to breathe into your heart.

Notice the passage widening,

And as the light stretches forward,

You begin to see a vast white gold field.

Soft mist rests low across the pale ground,

And a horizon stretches as far as your eyes can travel,

The place where the sky lowers to meet itself.

Nothing rushes here.

Nothing is demanding anything of you here.

Stay here for a few breaths.

Breathe naturally.

Let your body take in what it sees.

There is no hurry.

When you feel ready,

When your breath feels steady,

Gently step forward onto the field.

You are now standing in a vast,

Open,

Expansive white gold field.

The ground beneath you feels like pale sand,

Touched by mist,

That holds your weight easily.

There is nothing unstable here.

The air is balanced.

Feel the coolness of the air across your forehead.

Feel its warmth across your shoulders.

Feel the temperature here,

That asks nothing of you.

Ahead of you,

The horizon stretches infinitely.

A long,

Unbroken line where the sky meets itself.

It doesn't curve.

It doesn't end.

It continues far and wide,

Till your eyes can travel.

The white gold field you stand on is vast,

Open,

And wide.

There are no edges pressing forward.

There are no walls.

No ceilings.

No buildings.

No noise.

Just openness.

White gold light rests across the land and through the air.

Soft mist moves low across the ground.

Brushing lightly at your ankles,

The mist blends with the light,

With the horizon.

Nothing here is sharp or harsh.

Everything here meets itself gently,

Unhurried,

Effortless.

Stay here with your breath.

Breathe deeply and naturally into your heart.

If any thoughts arise,

Let them pass through.

If your focus drifts,

Gently bring it back into your heart space and continue to breathe into your heart.

Feel your shoulders settle a little more.

Feel the space behind your eyes ease.

There is nothing pressing on you here.

Nothing is chasing you.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

I invite you now to notice the mist rising near the horizon.

Focus your attention there.

As the mist rises,

Colors slowly begin to move through it.

Notice the colors that rise.

Perhaps it is a soft saffron.

Perhaps a ruby red or a turquoise.

Is it violet?

Is it coral?

Amber?

Indigo?

Perhaps you notice hints of emeralds or streaks of blush pink as well.

Notice how these colors drift through the white gold light.

You might notice the colors clearly,

Or you might only sense them.

Both is okay.

And if you see nothing at all,

That is also completely fine.

Don't force imagery.

Just breathe naturally and stay with this feeling of openness.

And allow your mind and body to just be present in this experience.

The horizon stretches infinitely.

Stay here with your breath.

Breathe deeply.

And naturally into your heart.

If any thoughts arise,

Let them pass through.

If your focus drifts,

Gently bring it back into your heart space and continue to breathe normally.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

As you stay with this feeling of openness,

Gently bring your awareness to the space behind your eyes,

In the center of your forehead,

Your third eye chakra.

You don't need to concentrate there.

Just bring your awareness there lightly.

As your awareness rests there,

Notice how the horizon gets clearer than before.

Notice how the mind begins to widen.

If you experience any pressure or tension,

Focus on your breath.

There is nothing to strain towards.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

Stay with that.

And if any thought arises now,

Stay with the thought.

Don't push it away.

Simply notice it and allow it to take on a color.

It can take on a violet streak,

Or a swirl of saffron,

A soft ribbon of turquoise.

Perhaps coral,

Or an indigo,

And perhaps colors you cannot even name.

Let your thoughts become color dust.

Let them drift slowly towards the horizon,

Into oblivion,

Unhurried,

And effortless.

As the colored dust rises with the mist at the horizon,

Where the sky meets itself,

The dust dissolves into the white gold light.

Nothing of the thought is rejected.

Nothing is forced away,

Just released.

It is not yours to carry anymore.

If another thought appears,

Let it take on a color once more.

Let it drift.

Let it rise.

Let it become dust.

Then,

Let it dissolve.

Let it become light.

The horizon holds everything.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

Stay here with your breath and feel how your body responds when your thoughts are released.

The breath is natural.

Your mind is calm.

The jaw is soft.

The forehead cooler than before.

Lighter than before.

The shoulders warm gently in the presence of the white gold light.

If any thoughts rise,

They simply take on a color,

Move towards the horizon,

And disappear into oneness.

You do not need to solve anything here.

The horizon holds everything.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

Stay here for a few more breaths.

As more thoughts are released,

Notice how the horizon is filled with colored mist.

As you stay in this space with your awareness,

Notice how there is no edge here.

No ceiling.

No boundary.

There is just an open sky with colored mist rising through the horizon,

Merging softly with the light.

As you witness the colored dust turning to light,

I invite you to let this light also enter your mind's eyes,

The sky within you.

Let the misty light enter the center of your forehead and settle at your third eye,

Like a subtle band of light behind the forehead.

Thoughts still arise,

But notice how they feel less crowded.

They arise,

Then drift,

Then dissolve.

The horizon stretches endlessly,

But it is within you now,

Within your third eye.

And your body feels steadier,

Grounded,

Clear,

Spacious,

And open.

Stay here and let your mind and body bask in this light within.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

As you stay with your horizon,

I invite you to gently shift your awareness towards your softened,

Natural breath.

Notice the breath as it enters.

Notice the breath as it leaves.

The horizon remains within you.

It rests quietly at your third eye,

Steady,

Open,

Expansive,

And unhurried.

The white gold warmth continues to rest in your heart space,

Balanced,

Clear,

And supportive.

Take a slightly deeper breath in.

And a slower breath out.

Feel the weight of your body again.

Feel the surface beneath you.

The room around you.

The air on your skin.

You are here,

And the horizon rests within you.

Whenever the mind begins to narrow again,

Whenever thoughts begin to race or circle,

You do not have to chase them.

You can return to the horizon within.

You can remember.

The horizon is wider than the thought.

Take another slow breath in.

And out.

Gently begin to bring small movement back into your body.

Wiggle your fingers.

Move your toes.

Roll your shoulders slightly if that feels good.

Let your awareness expand outward again.

The sounds in the space you are in.

You are grounded.

You are clear.

You are steady.

With the white gold warmth resting in your heart,

And the horizon resting at your third eye.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Take a moment before moving.

Let your system adjust naturally.

You are here.

You are present.

And the horizon awaits whenever you need it.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

And then some.
