Namaste.
Welcome to this meditation.
Thank you for joining me.
I'd like to invite you to meditate on big events.
Recording this meditation at a time where the holidays are very much upon us that fall winter transition time of the year where it is getting darker sooner we are faced with A lot more darkness within and without.
Just literally,
Figuratively.
So this time of year has always been very special to me.
Despite all circumstances,
I've always felt it as just a dear time.
If no other part of the year,
This is just the perfect time to cozy up with family and just kind of have your favorite things.
You know,
I love hot drinks.
That I can safely drink and share with others.
And you know be around people that I get to choose to be around that I know love me and I love them back and so even in times in life where maybe there are fewer people around or just a lot more going on so a lot less can be shared you know unless you find other means and so I just wanted to offer some time to sit and breathe with occasional cues from me time to sit in meditation and really just honor how it feels to Take in the blessings,
The gifts that this human experience.
Brings us.
So if you're able to get comfortable.
Whatever that looks like for you.
If you're sitting,
Perfect.
If you need to lay down,
Go for it.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath in.
Full breath out.
Another deep breath in.
And out.
All this slow pattern of breathing in and out.
You might notice thoughts come and go,
Just come back to the end.
Andy out.
As you continue to follow this pattern of breathing.
Notice how your body responds to being whatever state you're in.
Stillness.
Motion.
Notice how your body receives this state of being.
Continue to breathe in.
And out Can you soften any part of the body?
Let me soften your jaw.
Your hands.
If you notice the mind wandering.
Take a moment to come back to the inhale.
And the exhale.
Continue this pattern of breathing in and out.
Just being with yourself,
Noticing.
Where the body starts to feel tense as you start to think.
So you bring your body to stillness and release the energy through the hands and feet.
The more presence you bring,
The more information you get.
I invite you to take these practices into each moment.
And when you know that something is coming up,
Just take time to sit with the feelings.
Notice how your body responds.
I invite you to journal what information you get.
Start to take deeper breaths in and out.
Invite some movement into the hands.
Movement in the toes if you're cross-legged.
Stretch your legs out.
Bend the knees,
Point and flex your feet.
As you start to find more movement.
Prepare for your day or your evening or whatever is next in your life.
But go into it with curiosity.
Give yourself time to respond,
Time to adapt.
And notice what you notice.
Take note of what you learn.
Thank you again for joining me.
