Welcome to Be With Melinda.

When I first created the Roadmap in 2007,

I was deeply disturbed.

I had divorced my husband and in a way I had divorced Hashem too.

My faith,

My heart,

And my sense of belonging had all fractured.

I no longer knew what love meant,

Not divine love,

Not human love,

Not even self-love.

Creating this Roadmap changed everything.

It brought me back into relationship with God,

Not through perfection but through presence.

It became a compass that guided me home to love,

To purpose,

To the path of becoming a rabbi.

Through this process I entered conscious love with myself,

My past,

And all that is.

And I hope this meditation will help you shift something for yourself,

Something you've been wanting to change,

To release,

Or to reclaim.

Take a breath now.

Let the words that follow become your own Roadmap,

One that leads you back to the center of your heart.

First we'll root.

Close your eyes and feel the earth supporting you.

Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Let your spine lengthen.

Let your shoulders soften.

Whisper inwardly,

I am here.

I am safe enough to feel.

This is where love begins,

With presence.

Now we'll reveal.

Bring to mind a relationship,

Past,

Present,

Or desired.

Notice what truth wants to surface.

Say quietly to yourself,

The story I've been telling myself is,

And then what I really need is.

Let honesty open your heart without judgment.

Let's regulate.

Now breathe as though your inhale and exhale are waves meeting the shore.

Steady,

Rhythmic,

Eternal.

If emotions stir,

Lengthen your exhale.

You're teaching your nervous system that love can hold what life brings.

Silently repeat and breathe peace into our connection.

Now let's repair.

Notice where you may have withdrawn from yourself,

From another,

Or from spirit.

Inhale forgiveness.

Exhale release.

Whisper,

I see where I turned away.

I'm willing to return and feel the grace that comes when the heart reopens.

Now let's realign.

Ask inwardly,

What am I building now?

What do I stand for in love?

See the next step,

Even if it's small,

An act of kindness,

A boundary,

A prayer.

And say quietly,

I align with what is true and lasting.

Now let's ritualize.

Imagine a simple daily act of devotion.

A morning blessing.

A moment of gratitude.

A breath shared in silence.

Love is strengthened by rhythm.

Whisper,

Love lives in the rituals I keep.

Now let's renew.

Inhale possibility.

Exhale the past.

Sense a new current of life moving through you.

Awake,

Whole,

And radiant.

Whisper,

I renew my devotion to presence,

To truth,

To love.

Now rest your hand on your heart.

Feel the warmth there.

A quiet,

Steady flame.

This is everlasting love.

Not a fantasy,

But a way of being.

It is the capacity to return again and again to what is sacred within you.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes gently.

Carry this calm,

This clarity into the world.

As your living roadmap to everlasting love.
