Welcome to awaken with Joey space to relax,
Feel safe.
And be awakened.
In today's meditation we are going to be reconnecting with those forgotten,
Disconnected.
Or fragmented parts of ourselves.
Through visualization and breath.
We're going to welcome our inner wisdom.
And restore that sense of wholeness.
We're going to do a solo retrieval.
So find a comfortable position.
Let your body settle.
And you may close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
And take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale gently.
And again breathe in and let it go And for these next few moments,
Just simply allow yourself to sense the breath.
How it goes in and out of your body.
The gentle movement of the belly and the chest rising and falling.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your weight and with every exhale just imagine releasing the demands of the outside world with every inhale you welcome more relaxation You are simply here.
And as you fall deeper into this relaxation just start imagining as if you're going outside into nature And imagine yourself standing at the edge of a peaceful forest.
The air is clear.
The light is gentle.
And you sense that this is a place belonging entirely to you.
It's a place you know,
A place where you feel safe.
You've been here before.
And somewhere within this landscape is.
A deep remembering.
And now I want you to continue walking slowly along this path You can feel the sun on your face.
You can smell the trees,
Maybe the flowers.
You sense your feet walking through the soft grass.
And with each step you start to remember.
There's no need to search.
Just let the path reveal itself.
And as you walk down the path.
All of a sudden you come to a clearing.
In this clearing perhaps there is a home,
A temple.
Maybe a garden.
Or just simply a beautiful open space.
Whatever appears is enough.
And in this place.
That you see,
That you imagine,
That you visualize.
Allow an image.
A feeling,
A memory.
A young version of yourself to appear.
Don't force anything.
It may be obvious.
It may be subtle.
It may be nothing more than a sensation in your body.
And if nothing appears,
That's perfectly okay.
To simply remain present.
And silently offer you welcoming here.
Imagine approaching this part of yourself with compassion.
Where you don't need to change it.
You don't need to explain what happened.
You can sense it,
You can see it,
And just listen.
And in this space of presence.
Ask gently,
What do you want me to know?
Then become quiet.
Give yourself time.
If this part of you has something to offer.
A feeling,
A memory.
An image,
A quality.
Allow yourself to receive it.
Without questioning it.
Without doubting it.
Perhaps it's your joy.
Your courage,
Your creativity.
Your innocence,
Your voice,
Your ability to trust,
Your sense to belonging or simply the feeling of feeling fully alive.
Whatever it is,
Imagine this quality as a warm light.
Watch as that light slowly moves towards your heart.
As it enters,
Breathe in.
And as you exhale,
Allow it to settle through your body.
Feel it moving into your chest,
Your belly.
Your arms and hands.
Your legs and feet.
Your whole body.
Continue to welcome in.
And embracing in.
Reclaiming what is yours to be reclaimed.
And releasing what is not yours to carry.
Becoming whole.
And for a few breaths.
Simply rest into this wholeness.
Nothing else to retrieve.
You are here.
Feel the weight of your body.
Feel your breath.
Feel the ground beneath you and imagine roots extending from your body into the earth giving you stability you can carry this sense of connection with you whatever you experience can unfold naturally.
In this space of becoming whole.
Give gratitude to yourself.
For remembering.
And when you're ready,
Gently start walking back the path through the forest.
Back into that space where you started.
I'm beginning to.
.
.
Notice the sounds nearby.
The temperature of the air.
The surface beneath you.
Taking a deep breath,
Conscious breath.
Wiggling the body by wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
Noticing the room around you.
And before moving on with your day.
Notice your wholeness,
Your whole body present here.
With this breath in this space.
Just feel full.
Reconnect.
This is you.
