Magic Mirror

I am so excited to share this new poem with all of you that I wrote on 09/21/2026 while watching one of my most favorite movies, Love Across Time starring Aubrey Reynolds and Toby-Alexander Smith. I have watched this movie many times, but for some reason this time sparked creativity in me, which resulted in this poem. Normally, poems take me anywhere from a few days to even a few months to write, depending on what I am trying to say in the poem, but this poem was written in less than a day. The first two lines came into my head as I watched the end of this beautiful feel-good movie, and as I wrote them down, the rest came just as easily. So I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Love and Light to all!

Hi everyone, And thank you so much for joining me today. I am so excited to be sharing with you a poem that I just recently wrote, As recently as yesterday, Which was September 21st, 2026. While watching one of my most favorite movies, Which is called Love Across Time, And it stars Aubrey Reynolds as Chelsea and Toby Alexander-Smith as Sir Charles. For those of you who are unaware of the movie, It is a 2024 romantic fantasy film about an American real estate worker in England who accidentally opens a time portal to the 18th century. Now obviously this poem that I'm about to share with you is written from the perspective of the character Chelsea, As I am certainly not in love with the character Sir Charles, As he's not a real person. However, As I was watching the end of this movie, An end which I've watched several times before, And just enjoyed it, This particular time it. . . Kind of sparked a little creative energy in me, I guess. And the first two lines of this poem immediately came into my head, And I couldn't wait to write them down because I thought, Oh, This is really good, I think. And as I started to write down the first two lines, The rest just kind of. . . Along with it. So, With that being said, I call this poem, Magic Mirror. Magic mirror, Blue and bright, Let me see my love tonight. He came to me so I could see what true love's supposed to be. A gentleman from days gone by never again to say goodbye. In his castle big and tall. We found love and have it all. No modern man may have my hand. This you all must understand. He has my love and always will. Sir Charles, He gives my heart a thrill. So that is the poem. I hope all of you enjoyed it. I know I enjoyed writing it. It gave me a big smile, Which is something we could all use, Especially me right now.
