Welcome to Embodied Bliss,

A sensual yoga nidra experience.

My name is Ashley Bentley,

And today I'll be taking you on a journey of deep connection and awakening.

Exploring a more profound embodied experience of bliss.

In this practice,

We'll tap into the body's innate ability to connect,

Feel,

And experience pleasure.

And not just in moments of intimacy,

But in all aspects of life.

This yoga nidra session is designed to help you strengthen your awareness and connection to your body,

Fostering a deep sense of presence and sensual embodiment.

This special practice will invite you to tune in deeply to your body.

Allowing sensual energy to flow more freely and intensely.

This is your time.

Time to connect,

Time to explore,

And time to feel.

And just take a moment to find a comfortable lying position,

Ensuring your body is fully supported and nice and warm.

It's worth the extra effort to ensure your body is completely comfortable.

And let your body relax fully.

That's right.

Palms facing upwards,

Allowing for openness and receptivity.

Gently close your eyes and let your attention rest on the natural rhythm of your breath.

Notice the flow of air in and out of your lungs,

In and out of your lungs,

Effortless and smooth.

Research shows that the mind and body are deeply interconnected.

Through relaxation techniques and guided visualizations,

We activate the parasympathetic nervous system,

Lowering stress and allowing the body to enter a state of restorative awareness.

In this state,

Known as the hypnagogic state,

The body can bypass mental barriers,

Making it easier to explore sensations and cultivate a mindful relationship with pleasure.

This experience is not just about sensuality,

It's about connecting with your whole self.

By learning how to relax deeply and tuning into the body's subtler sensations,

You can learn how to tap into joy,

Creativity,

And a more harmonious way of being.

This connection ultimately enhances your life,

Helping you feel more alive,

Present,

And connected in everything that you do.

And can you bring to mind a heartfelt intention,

A sankalpa?

This is a simple but powerful affirmation of what you want to cultivate in your practice and in your life.

For example,

You could state,

I honor my body as a source of joy and connection.

Or,

I am open to experiencing pleasure in all areas of my life.

Or,

I am deeply connected to myself,

My senses,

And my sensual nature.

Allow this intention to gently rest in your mind throughout the practice,

Trusting that it will blossom over time.

Trusting that it will blossom over time.

Let's begin by bringing your awareness to the surface beneath you.

Feel how it supports your entire body.

You are safe here.

You are held and completely at ease.

Now,

Let this awareness deepen with each exhale.

It's as if the earth itself is inviting you to relax more deeply.

Now,

Bring your attention to the sensation of the clothing against your skin.

Feel the subtle textures and temperatures.

Allow these sensations to pull you deeper into the present moment,

More aware of your body's boundaries and the space it occupies.

Begin to sense the air around you.

Perhaps you can feel its coolness on your face or hands,

The way it brushes gently against your skin.

Let yourself be immersed in this sensation,

As if your body is softening,

Opening,

Becoming more attuned to the environment.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your breath,

And notice the rise and fall of the belly with each inhale and exhale.

Now,

Can you begin to imagine that your breath is carrying energy throughout your entire body,

Circulating it like a gentle current.

Now,

With every inhale,

Feel your body expanding,

Filling with vitality and presence.

And with each exhale,

Release any lingering tension,

Sinking deeper,

And deeper into relaxation.

And as you breathe,

Can you begin to visualize this energy gathering at the base of your spine,

In the pelvis.

This is the seat of your primal energy,

Your sensual power.

With each inhale,

Imagine this energy growing,

Gently swirling in the pelvis.

And with each exhale,

Feel it expand outwards,

Beginning to move up your spine,

Into your abdomen,

Your chest,

Your entire body.

Now,

Bring your attention to the sensations of pleasure that may already exist in your body,

However subtle.

There's no need to search or force anything.

Just become aware of what is there.

Maybe it's a gentle warmth in your belly,

A tingling in your hands,

Or a quiet and peaceful sensation in your heart.

Or a quiet hum in your lower back.

With each breath,

Imagine these sensations expanding,

And allow yourself to feel into them fully,

Letting them grow and move through your body like waves of pleasure,

Rising and falling naturally with each breath.

As you inhale,

Imagine your body filling with a soft golden light,

A light that carries with it warmth,

Pleasure,

And sensual awareness.

With each exhale,

Feel that light radiating outwards,

Expanding beyond the edges of your body.

It's as though your entire being is glowing,

Alive with sensation.

And allow this light to travel down into your hands,

Your feet,

And your legs,

And feel it spreading into your chest,

Your back,

Your shoulders.

With each breath,

Allow this warmth to build,

Becoming more intense,

More alive,

As though your whole body is awakening to pleasure.

Now,

I invite you to imagine that you are standing in a warm,

Gentle stream of water.

The water flows effortlessly over your skin,

Caressing every part of your body.

And it's the perfect temperature.

It's neither too warm nor too cool.

It's just right.

It's just right.

Allowing you to feel completely at ease.

And as the water flows over you,

Imagine that it is washing away any last remnants of tension.

And with each breath,

Feel yourself becoming lighter,

More open,

And more alive.

Now,

Bring your awareness back to your body.

And imagine that this gentle stream of water is replaced by a stream of pure water.

It's a stream of pure energy,

Pulsing,

Warm,

And vibrant.

It moves up from the earth,

Entering through the soles of your feet,

Traveling up your legs and into your pelvis.

It's so sensual,

Powerful,

And deeply alive.

With every inhale,

Draw this energy up through your body.

And feel it filling your pelvis,

Your belly,

Your chest,

And your heart.

And let it move all the way up to your throat,

And your face,

And the crown of your head.

As this energy moves through you,

Imagine it awakening every cell in your body.

And feel your skin becoming more sensitive.

More attuned to sensation.

Your muscles soften.

Your breath deepens.

And your entire body begins to hum with a quiet,

Pleasurable awareness.

Now,

Allow this sensual energy to radiate outwards,

Beyond the boundaries of your physical body.

Imagine it expanding in all directions,

Like waves of bliss moving through the space around you.

Like waves of bliss moving through the space around you.

Each breath fuels this expansion.

And with each exhale,

You let go of anything holding you back from fully feeling and embodying this pleasure.

And really feel the connection between your body and this energy.

The way it flows effortlessly through you.

Heightening your awareness of your body's potential for bliss.

Each breath you take enhances this connection.

Bringing you deeper into the experience.

Rotating your awareness now to your heart.

And feel the warmth and openness in this space.

This very sacred space that is your heart.

With each inhale,

Imagine your heart filling with love.

For yourself,

For your body,

And for the sensations you are experiencing.

And with each exhale,

Allow that love to radiate outwards,

Filling your entire body with warmth and bliss.

This is the embodiment of bliss.

Being fully present.

Fully alive.

Fully aware of the pleasure that flows through you.

As we begin to close this practice,

Just take a moment to feel the entirety of your body.

Feel the way your breath moves through you.

The way your body feels in this moment.

Alive,

Awake,

And deeply connected to your sensual self.

And remember,

There's no need to hold on to any specific sensations or feelings.

Simply know that this connection is always available to you.

And you can return to it whenever you wish.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to the surface beneath you.

And to the room around you.

Take a few deep breaths.

Feeling the energy settle into your body.

And just start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Perhaps moving your head from side to side.

Allowing for gentle movement to return.

And whenever you're ready,

And not a moment before,

Slowly open your eyes,

Bringing this sense of embodied bliss with you into the rest of your day.
