Hi everyone,
I just wanted to come on and have a quick chat and let you know about an amazing emotional release technique that I discovered a few years ago now and it's in my toolbox and I use it whenever I get emotional and it really helps in a matter of minutes.
It's amazing how it works and you can quickly overcome the emotions that are flooding through you.
So what I would ask you to do is first of all ask yourself what emotion is it that you are feeling?
Is it anxiousness?
Is it depression?
Fear?
And where in your body are you feeling this emotion?
Don't question it,
It can be the knees,
It can be even your ears but wherever it comes up whatever you think first is the answer.
And then what I'd ask you to do is work out on a scale of one to ten,
Ten being the highest,
One the lowest,
What is the rating you would give?
So how much fear are you holding on to?
Is it a ten?
Is it an eight?
And then once you have those that information I want you to take deep breaths in through the nose and right down into your belly feeling the feelings of fear,
Anxiety,
Or sadness,
Depression,
Whatever the emotion is,
Still just sitting in that emotion and concentrating on the rating.
So if it's an eight out of ten,
Breathing in right down into your belly in and out,
Feeling the feelings and just notice that it'll go from an eight down to a six and it just keeps going lower and lower as you're breathing in and out,
Feeling the feelings breathing in right down into your belly and out again and as you do this it'll get less and less the feeling will go down let it go right down to a one and then down to zero just breathing in and out right down into your belly and once that emotion has got to a zero you can continue to stay in this space and see if any other emotions come up behind a lot of times there is a second emotion and sometimes even a third and more but in that moment just keep taking a few deep breaths and if any other emotions start coming up just do the same again,
What is the emotion?
What would you rate it from one to ten?
And where in your body is it showing up?
And just start breathing again into your belly,
Feeling that emotion,
Don't shy away from it,
Allow yourself to feel it fully,
So you can then release it just breathing into your belly breathing in and out until that emotion comes right down to a zero this emotional release technique is so helpful,
So easy,
You can do it anywhere you can be in the shower,
You can be out going for a run or a walk or just sitting down quietly in a safe space I really hope that this helps you release your emotions acknowledging them and releasing them so that you don't hold on to them just letting them go,
