Hello,
I'm glad you found your way here.
To the Simply Harmony Reflections visualization.
From Simply Harmony Coaching.
Wherever you come from.
However you land it.
This is just for you.
Right here at this moment.
We will take a safe and supportive journey to fully appreciate who you are,
All of you.
And to celebrate not only who you are.
But also who you are becoming.
Self-compassion supports a positive self-perception.
Research has shown that people who practice self-compassion are more motivated,
Less anxious,
And less likely to burn out.
Overall well-being improves when our inner dialogue is nurturing rather than being overly critical.
Knowing that you are enough and that you are worthy.
Worthy of respect.
Worthy of love.
Worthy of peace,
Worthy of health.
Worthy of abundance may be challenging to accept at various times in your life.
Negative influences can begin at a young age from external sources,
Shaping and instilling beliefs of unworthiness.
They can be amplified through life by continual exposure to negative feedback through various interactions,
Experiences,
And social media.
In a world filled with unrealistic expectations,
Societal pressures,
And sometimes outright disregard for humanity and life itself,
It is easy to feel inadequate or unsure of one's worth.
Let's boost our own self-perception and support others in raising theirs.
Begin by settling in a quiet,
Safe,
And comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.
Feel the surface below you,
Cradling your body and letting soft support as you relax more deeply.
Focus now on your breath.
Take three low,
Deep breaths,
With the out-breaths slightly longer than the in-breaths.
And allow your body to relax and soften more with each exhale.
Call to mind a recent moment when you were hard on yourself.
Sometimes that voice inside can be far harsher than we would ever speak to another human being.
What was the situation?
What message did you tell yourself?
How did you feel?
Notice how it feels now in your body.
And where you feel it as you remember this moment.
Be open to whatever comes.
Avoid any judgment.
Let's redo that moment by imagining you are speaking to yourself as you would to a beloved friend.
First,
Let's recognize and appreciate your miraculous body just as it is.
Your unique personality.
And your mind and spirit that have been evolving amazingly over your lifetime.
From this place of acceptance and love of who you truly are.
You speak with warmth,
Tenderness,
Patience,
And encouragement.
Envision a gentle light surrounding you.
The color of your choice.
Softening any harshness that may have been present in the original instance.
Perhaps it is green for healing.
Pink for Love.
Blue for calm and protection.
Or any other color that has meaning for you.
You are aware of the same light as a small sphere in the center of your heart,
Representing compassion,
And you see it grow larger and larger until it also surrounds you.
Now two rings of light encircle you with a beautiful color prescribed by you.
How do you feel in contrast to the first time when you were hard on yourself?
Did you use different words?
Did you sense the more accepting non-judgmental scenario?
Did you feel more as if you were valued rather than feeling depleted?
From this softer,
Supportive place,
Repeat quietly.
I am worthy of kindness.
I am learning and growing.
I am enough.
Breathe deeply.
Letting this feeling of compassion grow inside you.
And watch as it expands as light outside of you.
Bask in this gentle,
Loving space as long as needed.
Know that at any time you can fill yourself with compassionate light and send compassion out to others as well.
Now let's envision a difficult conversation you expect to be kneaded stone with your friend,
Partner,
Child,
Coworker,
Or boss.
Imagine preparing for the conversation.
By surrounding yourself with soft,
Colorful light.
And filling up with compassion and kindness before the meeting.
The light surrounding you reaches out,
Spreading to envelop the other party with compassionate light as well.
See yourself standing in your power of strong self-worth at the same time that you will speak what needs to be said with kindness,
Grace,
And compassion.
You see the other party receiving the words well and responding in similar fashion.
You notice as the meeting closes that it went far better than similar discussions have gone before.
Notice how you feel.
Notice how your positive self-perception and heightened compassion have the potential to improve future interactions.
You now recognize more than before how compassion and kindness for yourself.
Can help support and improve interactions with others.
Repeat quietly.
I am worthy of all the joy and happiness the world has to offer.
I hold compassion for myself and for others.
I am grateful.
When you're ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Open your eyes and fully return to the room.
Noticing any shifts in your mood or energy.
Know that gaining self-worth does not happen overnight.
It is a step-by-step process towards a truly transformative way of being.
