This 20-minute meditation invites you to settle into the simplicity of open awareness. Instead of trying to manage your experience, you’ll be guided to soften, sense, and allow everything to be just as it is. As the body unwinds, awareness naturally becomes more spacious and steady. A gentle practice for returning to yourself, grounding the nervous system, and reconnecting with the quiet that’s always here.

I'm just finding a comfortable position,

Whatever that means for you today,

Sitting,

Laying down,

Eyes open,

Eyes closed,

And just allowing yourself to arrive,

Maybe taking a couple cleansing breaths,

Allowing the system to settle,

To arrive,

And if there's any areas of tension or holding on in the body,

Maybe just gently relaxing those areas.

Maybe you find the breath,

Wherever it's easiest for you to notice,

Maybe the rise and fall of the belly or the chest,

Maybe a coolness in the nostrils on the inhale,

Just noticing body breathing,

Without effort,

Without strain,

Attention settling on what's here,

Presence that's here,

Silence that's here,

The silence within and without,

No end to the silence,

Attention deepening on itself,

Into this one and only moment,

Alive,

Wakeful,

Presence,

As attention settles,

You might notice the silence intensifying and the ease of just being here,

The ease of being what we are,

The pleasure and ease of just being here,

Now,

Joy of silence deepening,

The experience of itself,

Brightening,

Clarifying,

The experience of itself,

Beyond itself,

This mystery of the self,

Here and now,

Attention brightening,

Clarifying,

Just by resting on itself,

What's here,

To rest as we are,

Is pristine,

Timeless,

Now,

Knowing what we are and resting as that,

Fluctuations may come in the nervous system,

Body and mind,

Just allowing and resting in what does not come and go,

Just here and now,

Relaxing and I truly enjoyed your long pauses. (Less speaking…just reflective words). 🇨🇦
