Hello to all the amazing mums out there.
This is your five minute reset meditation.
So let's take a moment to get comfy.
Either lying down or sitting up.
Breathe a nice deep breath in and a long exhale out.
And let's take a moment to arrive.
If you're listening to this,
You've probably been holding a lot today,
Mentally,
Emotionally and physically.
And this is your moment to pause.
So gently just allow your body to settle.
Again,
Taking a slow breath in and a long breath out.
And again,
Just taking some slow breaths in through the nose.
And exhaling slowly out.
We don't need to change anything.
We just need to notice.
And just bringing your breath back to its own natural steady rhythm.
Notice where you might be holding tension.
Perhaps in the shoulders,
The jaw or the chest.
And with your next breath out,
Just see if you can soften those areas.
Just using again that exhale to release some tension in the body.
And if your mind feels busy today,
That's okay.
It's completely normal,
In fact.
You have a lot going on.
And we don't need to stop the thoughts or try and empty the mind.
We just need to let the thoughts pass,
Like background noise.
And if you feel yourself getting caught up with the thoughts,
Just bringing your awareness back to the breath.
The inhales,
The exhales,
The rise and fall of the chest.
And just allowing yourself to be completely in this moment.
Giving yourself permission not to plan or organize,
Not to think ahead.
Nothing needs solving right now.
This moment is about you.
Just being.
Just breathing.
And as you sit here,
Notice that even in the middle of everything,
There is a small space of calm available to you.
And you can return to this space anytime.
Taking one more slow,
Deep breath in.
And a long breath out.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
And just remember,
Even on busy days like these,
These small moments count.
And they really do make a difference.
