Chapter 4.
You already know what to do.
For years,
I carried this heavy,
I have to quit my job loop.
It circled,
Circled,
Never landed.
But I know now,
If something truly needs doing,
It gets done.
No endless debate.
Take my son's birth.
He had breathing issues.
His doctor suggested the NICU.
Instant yes.
No talking it over.
Period.
When you know what to do,
You do it.
The incessant,
I should quit my job thought started up again in 2022.
I brought this to my coach.
I said,
I feel like I have to quit my job.
My coach said,
You don't have to quit your job because you're not.
And she was right.
In time,
The moment came to quit.
I knew.
I did it.
That was it.
No more loops.
I never thought about it again.
That's my guide now.
When overthinking stalls me at zero action,
I know it's just thinking.
The same inner nudge tells me when to call a therapist,
When to move my grandmom to a home,
When to sell my house,
Whether to have another baby.
Real guidance doesn't circle.
It acts.
What not to do is often clearer.
Right now,
Not jumping back into a corporate job.
I'm loving being a life coach that knowing is quiet.
Sure.
And mine.
