Hello sweet soul,
Welcome to your nightly meditation.
My name is Julianne Arce,
And I'll be your guide during this time.
I invite you to settle in,
Finding the most comfortable place that you can at this time.
Once you've found your cozy,
Just-right spot,
Take a soft breath in,
And a slower breath out.
There is nothing you need to solve now.
Nothing you need to prepare.
Nothing you need to hold together.
The day is complete.
Let your body rest exactly as it is.
No adjustments,
No improvement,
No performance.
Just here.
Feel the weight of you against the bed.
The mattress holding your shoulders,
Your hips,
Your legs.
You are not holding yourself up anymore.
Gravity is doing the work.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your tongue fall gently from the roof of your mouth.
Let your forehead smooth.
There is nowhere to go.
As you lie here,
Notice how much of your day was about being someone.
Someone capable.
Someone responsible.
Someone needed.
Someone productive.
Someone strong.
But tonight,
You don't have to be anyone.
Feel that.
Let the rolls loosen.
Let your name soften around the edges.
You are not your to-do list.
You are not your conversations.
You are not the tension you carried.
You are simply awareness resting.
Take another slow breath in.
As you exhale,
Imagine the edges of your body becoming less defined.
Not disappearing.
Just less solid.
As if you were gently blending with the air around you.
Your shoulders soften into your mattress.
Your back widens.
Your breath becomes quieter.
The space between your thoughts begins to stretch.
And if a thought appears,
Let it move through like a cloud passing across a dark sky.
No engagement.
No analysis.
Just passing.
There is a deeper place beneath a thought.
Beneath identity.
Beneath effort.
And you are sinking into it now.
Slowly.
Without trying.
Feel how the body knows how to fall asleep.
You don't have to force it.
You don't have to make it happen.
Sleep comes when you stop holding shape.
When you stop organizing yourself.
When you stop being defined.
Let your hands feel heavy.
Let your feet feel distant.
Let your breath become soft.
Almost invisible.
You are dissolving into silence.
Not disappearing.
Not lost.
Just returning.
Returning to the quiet place that has always been there.
The space beneath the noise.
The stillness beneath the story.
If your mind wants to speak,
Let it fade mid-sentence.
If your body wants to adjust,
Let it settle naturally.
You are safe to release control.
You are safe to drift.
You are safe to let go of being the one who manages everything.
Even your breathing can soften now.
The night is holding you.
The darkness is gentle.
There is no audience here.
No expectation.
Just silence.
Welcoming you back.
As your thoughts grow quieter.
As your body grows heavier.
Allow yourself to dissolve a little bit more.
Into the mattress.
Into the room.
Into the steady rhythm of your breath.
Until there is only softness.
Only warmth.
Only the quiet hum of resting.
You do not need to follow my voice anymore.
You can let it fade.
Let the silence take you.
Let sleep find you.
And allow yourself to drift.
