Welcome.
Thank you so much for taking this moment to be present with yourself,
With Abba Father,
And with me.
It is my pleasure to be with you today and to share some light.
Now,
I know that as children,
Sometimes we are referred to as little people,
But I want you to know,
Surely,
That although you might be little,
You are fully a person.
And in your humanity,
Or in your personhood,
You experience very strongly a range of emotions.
Those emotions are not good nor bad,
They just are.
And by virtue of you being alive,
You have every right to feel them and to let them go.
Some of those emotions might include love,
Like when your mom holds you real tight in an embrace after a long day at school.
Another emotion could be sadness,
Like when your best friend has to move away to another school.
Another emotion can be frustration,
Like when your teacher picks on you and you don't know why.
Another could be peace,
Peace in the present.
Yet another anger,
Like when your brother or your sister hits you.
And another could be joy,
Joy at eating a big piece of your favorite dessert.
These emotions are beautiful,
And it is my goal to give you a space to feel them,
An opportunity to affirm them,
And a place to let them go.
So in today's affirmation,
The first is,
I am love.
Now we take a big breath in and out.
Doesn't that feel good?
Your shoulders relax.
The tension in your neck decreases.
Your eyebrows unfurl.
Your forehead eases the tension.
You are free.
The next is,
I am light.
Another big breath.
And out.
Next,
I am safe.
Big breath in and out.
Next,
I am worthy.
Big breath in and out.
Next,
I am enough.
Big breath in and out.
Next,
I am secure.
Big breath in and out.
Lastly,
I am lovely.
Again,
I am lovely.
Big breath in and out.
That was special.
I hope that not only did you learn the value of your emotions,
But I also hope that you know how incredible you are.
Once again,
Thank you for taking this time to spend together,
And I look forward to seeing you at the next bend in the road.
