You can change your day while sitting at a traffic light,
Inhaling and exhaling with intention.
You can go deeper and repeat for a few minutes or more depending on your time and location.
Let's begin this 5 minute guided meditation.
If you can,
Find a quiet and relaxing place.
Find a position that is comfortable.
You can sit or you can lie down.
Turn off your phone and allow yourself to disconnect and dive into a moment of rejuvenating self-care.
Gently close your eyes and take a nice easy breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.
Do this again 2 more times at your own tempo,
Feeling your body relax as you sink into the ground.
Let go of all the stress and tension.
Feel the surface push back against you as you fully surrender.
And gently inhale through your nose and slowly exhale through your nose.
Keep breathing slowly.
Each breath relaxes you a little more as you sink deeper and deeper into the ground.
Allow whatever thoughts you are experiencing to happen.
Avoid resisting.
Just let the thoughts be.
And keep breathing slowly and gently.
Now take a deep inhale through the nose feeling only positive energy coming in,
Feeling good.
And release a deep exhale through the mouth.
And repeat.
Deep inhale through the nose feeling only positive energy coming in.
And deep exhale through the mouth.
Release.
And let's repeat one more time.
Deep inhale through the nose feeling only positive energy coming in.
And deep exhale through the mouth.
And just keep breathing gently at your own pace.
Letting all the tension and worry leave your body evaporating into thin air.
As you breathe focus your attention to the sound and rhythm of your heart.
Hear your heart beat.
Feel your heart beat.
Now pay attention to all the other sounds around you.
Focus on each sound and identity.
And then let them go.
Now let's take another deep inhale through the nose feeling only positive energy coming in.
Inhale.
Feeling good.
And deep exhale through the mouth.
And let's do that one more time.
Deep inhale through the nose feeling only positive energy coming in.
And deep exhale through the mouth.
Release.
And let's slowly come back.
Hear your heart beat again.
Feel your skin against whatever surface it's touching.
Gently move your fingers.
A gentle stretch.
Slowly stretch your body reaching way down with your toes.
Stretch out with your arms.
Stretch your neck long and tall.
And in your own time open your eyes feeling rejuvenated.
