Welcome to this meditation promoting cancer healing and comfort.

I'm Dr.

Linda Friedland and I'm delighted to be here with you today,

Accompanied by the intentional music track of Yuval Ron,

In consultation with Dr.

Richard Gold of Metta Mindfulness Music.

Close your eyes.

Give yourself permission right now to relax.

This is your time for yourself,

For your healing,

To regain your strength and your vitality,

And to release any stress you may be carrying.

Although your body is experiencing some discomfort or illness now,

Allow this music and the meditation and your breathing to work alongside all your therapies to assist in healing your body and stilling your mind.

Begin to become aware of your breathing.

Breathe in deeply through your nose and slowly breathe out through your mouth.

And once again,

Breathe in deeply through your nose.

Hold for a moment and breathe out through your mouth.

Breathe in yet again through your nose deeply and slowly breathing out through your mouth.

Right now,

You may be feeling overwhelmed or you may be feeling at peace.

You may be receiving your therapy right now,

Your chemotherapy or immunotherapy.

You may be just allowing your body and your mind some time to relax.

Breathing has an enormous power to energize,

To heal,

To regenerate your cells,

Cleanses your blood.

It activates your immune system.

It stills your mind,

Lifts your anxiety,

And calms your emotions.

Continue to breathe slow and deep breaths.

As you breathe out,

Let all the tension and worry stored in your body begin to leave you.

With each inhalation,

You are absorbing new calm energy and vitality.

With each breath out,

You are releasing strain.

Breathe out your tensions,

Your worries,

And your pain for just this moment.

Now,

Starting at the top of your head,

Begin to consciously relax the muscles of your body.

You may be feeling some pain within your body,

But we will start gently from your scalp and move down.

Relax your scalp.

Relax your forehead.

Relax your face and relax your jaw.

Relax the muscles of your neck and shoulders.

Feel a wave of relaxation move through your chest,

Into your arms,

And down into your hands and fingers.

Feel this wave of relaxation move through your back muscles and down your legs to your feet.

Allow your stomach muscles to relax your abdomen so that your breathing can stay nice and deep.

With each gentle breath you take,

Allow yourself to become more and more relaxed and at peace.

Now you are beginning to use the power of imagery.

Images are not thoughts.

They are powerful mental pictures that become translated into your reality,

Into your body.

The images connect pathways from your brain cortex to areas of healing and immunity.

Visualize any cells or organs or any part of your body that may require light and healing.

Imagine directing this healing energy to the areas of your body that need this healing.

Imagine,

See,

And feel a warm and gentle light above your head.

Allow this warm white light to penetrate through the top of your head,

Down your face,

Behind your eyes,

Into your neck and shoulders.

Feel this warm light moving into your chest and flowing down your arms all the way to the tips of your fingers.

Feel and see this light washing through your legs,

Down your feet and into your toes.

Allow this light to spread down your spinal cord to every single nerve,

To every vessel,

To every cell in your body.

Replenishing,

Renewing,

Relieving and healing.

Allow this inner light,

This inner energy,

Your energy,

Your intention to work along with all your treatments to be a part of your healing.

You may begin to feel a heaviness,

A warmth entering you as you become more relaxed and comfortable.

You are becoming calmer and more tranquil.

See this light enter your heart,

The source of your life force.

Allow it to pump this light through your vessels to every organ,

Replenishing and healing.

Feel the warmth,

See the light,

Hear the movement and the flow through your body.

Your entire body is now bathed in this light as it surrounds you in a cocoon,

Relaxing your outer muscles and skin and you feel at peace and energized.

Choose now to let go of any negative emotion,

Your fear,

Your anger,

Breathe in strength and stamina,

Breathe in calm and joy.

Let all the natural energy surrounding you enter your body and work along with your own immune system to eliminate any imbalance,

Any part of the illness,

Any pain,

Any mental worries.

Give yourself time to clear out all of today's frustrations and to move forward with somewhat calmer clarity.

Listen now to your body as you listen to the music.

You can send healing to any part of your body that may be feeling pain or experiencing your illness.

Let the energy of this music and the Earth's energy and the spiritual divine energy enter and restore your energy and life power.

Open every cell of your body to health and some healing.

Now become aware of your breathing once again,

The feel of the chair or your bed against your body and continue the deep breathing through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

As we conclude our meditation,

You will feel calmer inside and out.

Your breathing will remain smooth and even.

Your thoughts and mindset will be supportive towards improved well-being.

Know that you can come back to this meditation towards comfort and healing whenever you choose.
