Do you ever get caught up in anxiety?
I certainly do.
And I realized that anxiety is all about being caught up in the moment,
Wishing for it to be something that it's not,
Placing our focus onto a space of lacking,
A space of wishing for something different,
And feeling into a space that it's impossible.
And so in these moments,
The most powerful thing we can do is actually leap out of the spiraling down state and into a space of spiraling upwards.
We're going to be tapping into the energy of gratitude,
Because gratitude is the number one thing that helps us live into the wonderful abundance of the present moment,
To really appreciate all we do have,
And to enjoy the abundance of the present moment.
So go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable seated position where you can connect through your spine,
Downwards into the earth,
Into the energetic root system of the planet,
And upwards through your spine,
Through the top of your head,
To the sky,
To the sun,
The moon,
The stars,
The planets,
The entire universe.
Feeling that support and connection above and below.
Go ahead and place your hands over the center of your heart,
Over your chest.
Gently close your eyes if you haven't already.

In the electricity through our nervous system,
The fire of our passion and our ability to transform,
Connecting to the earth element,
Connecting us to the planet and to the other beings here.
From this place,
Go ahead and welcome in your guides,
Your ancestors,
Animals or plants,
Other support systems that are here for you.
Welcome them into your consciousness to be with you today.
And today we'll be working with a mantra that you'll repeat,
Allowing for yourself to release any needs of expectations and focusing on the following words,
Repeating them in your mind or in a soft whisper.
