Welcome to mindfulness meditation practice with myself,
Trimaine Cato.
Today we will take some time out of our morning to offer gratitude to this new day,
Releasing any worries or fears from yesterday,
And simply embracing the wonderful opportunities that lay ahead.
The morning is a wonderful time to sit with self and tune into the body before reaching for our phones and getting our minds preoccupied with past and future socials of the day.
When we drop in and pull our awareness towards the present moment,
We begin to set the tone for the day,
Knowing that we can always come back to our practice at any time.
Beginning here,
Find a comfortable spot wherever you are,
Whether seated or laying down.
We will first start by tuning into our surroundings.
Notice where you are in this present moment,
Simply drawing your complete awareness to the knowing of now.
You can begin to take three full breaths where you are,
Inhaling through the nose,
And as you exhale,
Gently parting the lips and releasing through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale,
Exhale.
One more time,
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth,
And slowly closing the lips and breathing naturally here.
As you focus on your breath,
Gently hold at the top with your inhale.
Notice that space and stillness.
This space is the portal to infinite mind and divine connection we have within us.
With each inhale,
Fill up completely,
Hold at the top,
And as you exhale,
Releasing any stagnant energy,
Perhaps from your dreams,
That no longer serves you.
One more time,
Taking in a deep inhale through the nose,
Exhaling through the nose completely here,
Surrender.
Breathing your body and allowing yourself to let go in this moment,
The mind may begin to wander once the body is still.
In moments of distraction or turbulence,
Pause,
Notice the mind wandering,
And then bring the attention back to the body,
Back to the space within and around you.
Asking,
What are you looking forward to today?
How would you like to show up for yourself today?
As you breathe with ease,
Allow your breath to cleanse your thoughts and offer clarity.
Tuning into the breath with gentle awareness,
Feel supported and guided by the flow and stability of your breath.
At any time today,
Come back to your breath when feeling disoriented or perplexed,
Knowing that you can always rely on this one true friend.
Allow yourself to savor this moment.
Set an intention for your rising,
Speaking presently into time.
Tap into your deepest aspirations,
Embody the energy and feel your intention as if you are living it now.
Align your deepest desires to support your well-being.
Breathe consciously into your intention,
Inhaling fully,
Exhaling completely,
Repeating it to yourself silently three times,
Breathing into your intention.
As the sun returns this rising,
Notice and appreciate the new opportunities that await ahead.
To live unapologetically,
To live purposefully,
To live naturally and with ease,
Embodying the true rhythm of life that you wish to manifest.
Live with appreciation for this day,
Witnessing the abundance within and surrounding you,
Sending love,
Light and gratitude to all that nourishes you.
Breathe with ease today,
Beloved,
With comfort that all things will be taken care of.
Everything is perfect in this moment.
And slowly coming back to this space,
Drawing your awareness into the body,
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Flutter your eyes open softly,
Seeing and embracing the beauty before you.
And take your time to gently adjust,
Feeling renewed and fully prepared for your day.

Offering this new day with infinite gratitude and abundance for the presence of now,
Knowing that at any time during your day,
You can come back to this simple practice,
Allowing yourself to become more centered and aligned.
