Hello friends today,
We're going to take a walk on the beach.
So let's begin by taking a deep breath and just kind of let go of any stress or anything you're holding on to at the moment.
Take another deep breath and just kind of clear your mind.
So it's okay if you've never been to the ocean or seen the beach.
I want you to make up the details.
This is your ocean and your beach.
So it can be anything you want.
It can even be science fiction.
Take a big inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose or the mouth.
Just letting everything go that you've been doing.
Everything that has been going on the last few days.
Letting go of all the people in our life,
All the situations,
All the work,
All the to do lists and the tasks.
Take all that and on the next exhale,
Just release it into the big sky.
Imagine the big sky that's over the ocean.
So inhale up and exhale,
Disperse it over that ocean into the sky.
Let's start walking towards our beach.
Starting to feel a little bit of sandy ground underneath us.
And then as we continue to walk towards the beach,
There's more and more sand.
Our feet are sinking,
But it's soft.
We can feel it between our toes.
You're looking out across your ocean,
Spotting these magnificent,
Beautiful waves.
They're crashing,
Rumbling,
Splashing,
Making beautiful colors.
Notice the color of the water.
Notice if it's clear.
Absorb all of the details of your water.
Water flows up and down onto the sand.
We keep walking closer and closer,
Getting closer to the water's edge as it ebbs and flows.
Now we are close to the water and we can feel the coolness of the water curling around the ankles,
Through the toes,
Under the foot as you pick it up and over the foot as you set it back down and just feel the water.
You're a little surprised at how cool the water is at first,
But then you adjust and you can continue to walk deeper and deeper into the water.
You watch the water run up onto the sand and back down into the ocean.
Think of how the body's emotions flow like that ocean,
How the emotions flow and run nonstop through us.
You stop for a moment and you watch the waves,
Take in the sounds,
Taking a deep breath,
Slowly releasing that air that you took in.
Scan your body quickly,
See if you need to adjust.
Notice where you're holding stress and just try to release it out across the ocean.
You're feeling the water come up across the ankles and higher on the leg and then running back into the ocean.
The water flowing,
The emotions flowing.
You are very relaxed.
You are very relaxed.
And you continue to relax even more,
Relaxing,
Letting go,
Breathing.
As you watch the water flow,
You can tell the water is calling you to dive in.
It's okay to do this.
This is a very special and safe place just for you.
It's calming,
It's relaxing,
It's safe.
Walking out deeper into the water,
Feeling the coolness,
But notice how it refreshes you.
You decide to dive in,
Hearing the sounds of the underwater.
Once you're under the water,
You find that in your special water,
You can breathe here.
Like a mermaid or a merman,
You can breathe.
You can go wherever you want.
Looking all around,
Noticing the seaweed,
The bottom of the ocean,
Any shells or sea life,
The color of the water.
Maybe you see some coral reef.
Maybe you see tall seaweed.
Looking around,
Taking in the sights,
The colors,
Swimming deeper and deeper,
Loving this free place where you can just be yourself and let go.
There's nothing required of you.
Diving carefully and notice if you see the dolphins.
Notice if you can hear some dolphins.
The dolphins are there swimming and playing with each other.
They notice you and they start coming your way.
Very friendly,
Playful.
They're jumping up out of the water and back down into the water.
They're spiraling with each other.
They are so happy to see you.
You begin swimming and playing with them,
Touching them.
They swim above you,
Below you,
Around you,
Taking a deep breath,
Enjoying this moment.
Just playful peacefulness.
You can tell the dolphins want you to go with them.
So you go with them.
You swim,
Continue to play.
You're joyful.
Feel the joyfulness.
Going deeper and deeper into the ocean.
Look around.
What do you see?
What is the plant life?
What fish do you see?
What's the color of the water?
Is it clear?
How far can you see?
Very peaceful.
Even as you swim deeper and deeper,
You are calm and at peace.
You are loving it.
You're enjoying the company of the dolphins.
And in the distance,
You start to hear the whale song.
Hearing the whale song,
Enjoying it.
It puts you into a deeper relaxation,
A deeper state of letting everything else go.
Your body is comfortable and relaxed.
It floats right along as you swim.
It's not hard to swim here.
It's very easy.
You can see the whales in the distance and you enjoy watching them.
They are giant and gentle and magnificent.
In the distance,
You start to see these beautiful little sparkling bright lights coming to you.
You start swimming towards them and the dolphins,
They understand it's time for you to go.
This is what they brought you to see.
So you start swimming towards the beautiful bright lights and you notice that they're actually swimming towards you too.
As you get closer,
You notice that they are little seahorses.
Notice their color.
Notice if they shimmer.
Along their spines are all different colored sparkling lights.
These are special seahorses.
And they are going to take you on a magnificent journey.
They want you to follow them and so you do because you know it's safe.
They're going to guide you through these waters.
They have a very special place to take you.
A wonderful little adventure.
As you follow them,
You notice your body is becoming heavier and more relaxed and sinking deeper into the depths of the ocean.
You're noticing more and more plant life,
More and more fish.
Look around at the colors.
Your body is still moving across the water with ease.
Even your fingers and toes are completely relaxed.
Feeling the water across your skin.
The noises of the outside world are meaningless here.
Following the seahorses going down,
Down,
Down.
Deeper and deeper into the depths of relaxation and the depths of the ocean.
As we go deeper,
We notice the change of color in the water.
What color is it for you?
You are looking ahead towards the depths and you notice a cave.
It's a sparkling,
Beautiful cave.
You are amazed at the beauty and brightness and you know this is where you are supposed to go.
So you start to swim closer and closer to the cave and it just gets more beautiful and more bright and sparkly and amazing.
This cave is filled with love and light and you swim in and there are many friends here.
And as you move through the people swimming through the cave and the sparkling lights,
You know that they are all here for you.
They are all here to support you,
Give you guidance and that you can come back to this place at any time when you need a break from everything above the water.
So the cave is full of love,
Full of light,
Full of support.
Some of these friends join you as you swim through.
Some stay behind,
Just letting you know they'll always be there and you can come back anytime.
Take a moment and notice what words you hear.
Are you hearing words of encouragement or support or love?
Is there a special message inside here that you need to hear?
Is there something you've been neglecting and you need to attend to?
Maybe you will hear the encouragement here or the words you need to hear to take back with you to the surface.
So swimming,
Enjoying,
Breathing deeply,
Relaxing,
Noticing the beauty of the walls of this cave.
Look at the details.
Take them in.
So you're continuing to swim through and you see there is a different exit.
So you're swimming towards the exit.
On the other side of the cave,
You see a whole new underwater world.
This is a world that no one even knows exists.
Look all around at the sites.
What is in this underwater world for you?
The most beautiful,
Most relaxing,
Most amazing place you've ever been.
Notice the colors.
Look all around.
Notice the peacefulness,
Most peaceful place you've ever been.
What do you hear?
What kind of fish are here?
Are there more friends here?
Now just swimming around,
Floating.
Maybe you're doing acrobatics.
Maybe you're just relaxing.
Notice the breath.
Imagine feeling that water surrounding your whole body,
Surrounding it with comfort and ease.
Looking at every detail as you drift into a deep,
Relaxing,
Safe place.
Feel,
Smell,
Hear,
See.
The little sparkling lights of the seahorses are returning to you.
They are coming back and letting you know it's time to go back to the surface.
You thank the seahorses for helping you along this journey.
And they let you know you can come back any time you need a break.
Take a moment to be thankful for what you have above the surface.
What are you happy to go back to?
So you leave the little world,
Go back through the cave,
Tell your friends there thank you for the advice or the support.
Thank you for the messages.
And then come back out of the cave.
And as you swim towards the surface,
You look back and you see the sparkling cave getting smaller and smaller.
But as you look towards the heavens,
You notice the sun getting bigger and bigger,
Reflecting on that water.
So swimming towards the bright light of the sun,
Swimming,
Breathing,
Feeling rejuvenated and refreshed,
Feeling thankful,
Feeling at ease.
That sun is getting bigger and bigger as you get closer and closer to the surface until your head comes up.
There are the ocean waves again.
You can see the shore,
It's very close until your feet can finally touch down in the sand on the bottom of the ocean.
As you walk out of the ocean,
The waves swirling around you peacefully,
Coming up out of the ocean,
Feeling rejuvenated,
Refreshed,
Thankful,
At peace.
You can stay here a moment and look around,
Or you can continue to walk out away from the ocean.

Simply WONDERFUL. My first underwater meditation and it was calming, rejuvenating and . . . delightful. Swimming with the dolphins was exactly what I needed as I approach a life transition. Highly recommend.
