I continue to thank you for your teachings. Yes, working through our stuff as we sit with it can be painful. Such a process. The energy of gurus and people in general … it’s all around us and of various ways of ways of showing up. Interesting, how when reading some of the reviews people mention things I didn’t hear. I often listen more than once. The first upon waking so I am often in that sleep wake realm. At present my relationship with anger is shifting in a positive way. I’m more able to sit with it while not allowing it to take over, become toxic and self righteous. Bits of clarity shine through. Free writing is my guru right now, inviting/imagining guides talking to me when I can allow them in. Fun process and also interesting sometimes challenging. My thinking mind wants to take over it seems when I am on the cusp of an insight. Anyway, your teachings are so supportive on this practice and journey. I thank you 🙏

Love this. So many useful things in this. For me particularly it’s about being my own guru and spending some time reviewing some of those old resentments and letting them have their say and then wishing them well and watch them scuttle off into the undergrowth and disappear never to be seen again!

i enjoyed listening to your experience. pretty amazing. when you said your guru couldn’t take away your problems. It reminded me of what Saint Paul said to the Corinthians. He never prayed for their problems to go away. He prayed that through their relationship with God they could endure their problems.
I don’t think it was in this podcast, maybe the previous one, but you said something like… Sometimes enlightened beings return to this Earthly body to experience the contrast again. To experience the depth of difficulties and challenging emotions. I really related to that. I myself had a strong spiritual experience around age four. A vivid knowing of God‘s presence. I have spent my whole life Deepening my connection with God. When I was little, I felt special, but I was told that was arrogant and prideful. With my husband‘s death, my intuition says something is going to crack wide open in my spiritual walk. not sure what that is yet but God always has a way of communicating these things to me. The hardest part for me is being patient. lol.
I also appreciated you talking every day to your guru for 10 years. Since my husband died, I talk with him every day and I hear him talking back. A psychic medium said at one point he and I were one soul. I’m glad you mentioned that you talked with your person every day. it encourages me to continue the conversations with my late husband.
