No matter how your day went, I bet there are SOME small things to be grateful as you wind down your evening. Throughout this audio I will prompt to give thanks for the simple things, using the senses as a guide, for example seeing the sun in the sky, the smell of your coffee, the taste of the abundance that you consumed, the touch of your pet's fur. Spend ten minutes contemplating and go to sleep with a positive grateful mindset.

Hello and a warm welcome to your evening,

Night time gratitude practice.

I'm very grateful to you for pressing play on one of my meditations and it's an honour to hold space for you.

So we're already cultivating a feeling of gratitude.

So I have some prompts for you just to contemplate.

If you do like journaling you can always pause and actually write them but otherwise it's fine to just contemplate them in your mind.

We're going to begin by thinking about our senses and finding something to be grateful for,

For each of the senses.

So we're starting with sight.

At least one thing that you are grateful to have seen today.

If you need a little prompt or a little nudge.

I'm usually grateful if I see the moon.

The moon in the night sky.

What's one thing you're grateful for that you saw today?

Moving on to the sense of smell.

Can you think of at least one thing that you smell today that you're grateful for?

Could be perfume of a loved one or the smell of your dinner cooking.

What's your one thing?

Naturally following the sense of smell is the sense of taste.

What one thing are you grateful to have tasted today?

Take a moment to think about your meals and snacks and beverages today.

And the abundance,

The opportunity to have that that we often take for granted.

What was your favorite taste today?

How about touch?

If you're already in bed,

Maybe it's the touch of the sheets on your body after a long day.

You might have your own ideas here.

What touch are you grateful for today?

What about sound?

What did you hear today?

What was your favorite thing you heard today that you're so grateful for?

Music,

Podcast,

Conversations,

Phone calls,

The sound of a loved one's voice.

Maybe the sound of your cat's purr.

What sound are you grateful for today?

Now that we've reflected on the senses and we've realized that the little things are often the big things when it comes to gratitude.

What is one thing you're looking forward to tomorrow?

It could be from one of those senses or it could be something different.

Allow yourself a moment to get excited about that one thing that you're looking forward to tomorrow.

And what about you?

Can you name something that you like about yourself and are grateful for?

Are you kind,

Consistent,

Determined,

Funny?

I'm sure you are.

Pick at least one thing that you like about yourself and that you have gratitude for.

Did you read anything today?

Did you get a chance to read a couple of pages of a book,

Magazine,

Newspaper,

Blog?

Online counts too.

Or maybe thinking a little bit beyond today.

What book are you most grateful to have read?

What music did you hear today?

Or if you didn't get a chance to hear any,

What music are you most grateful for in general?

What style,

What genre or what artist?

We all have at least one artist who's been the soundtrack to our lives.

I feel that gratitude to them.

Send them that gratitude through your heart space.

And speaking of space,

What are you most grateful for about where you live?

The town or the city or wherever you are.

What do you love most about us?

When you think about where you live in your mind's eye and you're reflecting on today,

Do you notice how nature is around you?

How the weather is?

What season are we in?

And what do you love most about the season that we're in?

Even if it's not your favourite season,

I'm sure there's at least one thing that you love about it.

If it happens to be a particularly favourite season that we're in,

Then you might have a big list here.

Allow gratitude for them all,

Whether it's one or twenty.

And finally,

Was there one really good moment today?

A moment where you laughed hard?

Or you just felt good?

Is there one beautiful moment in your life,

In your life so far,

That you will cherish forever?

Allow yourself to feel gratitude for that moment.

Allow that gratitude to raise your vibration.

And imagine for a moment that everyone,

Every single person alive today took these ten minutes to tune into gratitude,

To raise their vibration.

We could raise the vibration of the whole planet.

You've done your bit.

You're doing your bit.

You can just raise your own vibration and help others to raise theirs.

I'm so grateful for you for still being here as we come to the end of our time together.

And be grateful to you.

Thank yourself for pressing play,

For doing something positive.

No matter how difficult or challenging today might have been,

You're ending your day with ten minutes of gratitude.

And for that alone,

We should both be grateful.

Thank you so much for being here.

I'll see you next time.

Namaste.
