It's a short practice session.
Combining a little movement,
A little breath work,
A little meditation,
Inspired by the water element.
So we're going to start off.
With the movement called the fountain.
So you're just going to relax the body.
You want to just be good overall posture,
Feel the feet rooted into the ground,
But feel as if almost the top of the head is floating up,
Shoulders relaxed.
Bring the hands in front of the body,
Palms generally facing you.
As if you're drawing water up from the ground.
Comes up through the legs,
And then coming up just inside the spine,
Up over the crown of the head.
And then just like being at a fountain,
Water splays out to the sides.
Link the movement with breath here.
As you rise up,
The hands rise up,
The water comes up through the body.
You release.
Remember the visualizations are just to help you feel.
But if the visualizations don't work for you,
Let go of the visualizations.
It's not a mental thing.
Visualization challenge.
Is to just feel this.
Hello?
Feel the water like quality through the body where majority water.
Let's do four more.
Inhale,
We rise.
Exhale,
Release.
Feel that spine rising as we come up.
Opening.
And releasing.
Last one.
And you can relax.
We're gonna connect to a feeling of what they call the ocean wave breath.
As if just like an ocean wave.
Just gets bigger as you inhale.
Coming up through the torso.
And then at the top of the inhale,
Gentle pause.
And as you exhale,
Relax and release.
So lower abdomen.
Ribs expand a bit sideways,
Feel a little bit in the upper back and chest and then let go.
You can let the hands just stay sides of the body.
Or you could kind of bring them up.
With the breath.
And release.
So it's three-step breath,
Ocean wave breathing.
Lower abdomen.
Ribs.
Upper back,
Chest.
And release.
And if you feel you can't,
You're not feeling the breath up.
Up or just have it be a smaller wave.
Feel the lower abdominal area expand.
Maybe a little bit of horizontal expansion of the ribs and release.
Taking a couple more breaths like this.
As you inhale,
It's as if the ocean wave rises and gets bigger.
And then as you exhale,
The wave breaks.
Now we're gonna let go of the inhale.
Just let the inhale happen naturally.
Just take your breath in.
And now with your out breath,
A long sigh.
Just like with the water going out back to sea.
Dissolving with the out-breath.
Inhale,
Just let it be.
Exhale as long as you can possibly make it with the sound of a sigh.
Just the sound of the ocean waves going back out to sea.
Doing three more.
And last one.
Let the side just go nice and long.
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go.
And relax.
You could take this nice,
Relaxed.
Ease in feeling.
Through the rest of your day.
