Welcome to this guided meditation on getting unstuck.

Let's begin by looking at the room you're in,

Observing your surroundings.

Know that this outside world will be here at the end of this meditation,

But for the next little while you will turn your attention to a place less traveled,

Your inner world,

To discover a bit more about yourself,

To open your heart and mind to the very source of inspiration,

To receive insights that you can assimilate into your daily life when you return.

Now take a mental picture of your surroundings.

Inhale deeply.

And as you exhale,

Close your eyes.

See the space you're in imprinted in your mind.

And like pieces of a puzzle,

Allow them to fall and dissolve one by one.

As the pieces dissolve,

Notice what is left behind,

Perhaps a sense of stillness,

As if you're resting in a quiet corner of your mind.

Now in whatever position you're in,

Laying or sitting,

Feel the sensations of your body here in this moment.

Instead of thinking about the body,

Just feel the body and the sensations of your body connecting to the earth.

Our minds are constantly going on journeys,

But the body is always present.

Notice this.

Notice the quietness of your physical body here and now.

The earth cradling your body as it has been doing so since you came into this life.

Feel as if you were a little seed planted into the earth.

Don't just imagine it,

Feel it.

A small seed is hard on the outside,

But full of life on the inside,

Waiting for the right conditions to sprout and blossom in its full capability.

Now go deeper.

Realize yourself as a seed under the ground,

A small seed under the earth's soil.

Smell the wet soil surrounding you.

It feels familiar,

Comforting.

You feel protected as in your mother's womb,

Knowing that right above you is a world full of possibilities.

This magnificent world feels so close,

Yet so out of reach.

Just like a seed,

You may find yourself at times feeling small and constricted in your life.

You desire to grow.

You want to break free from what is binding you.

We all find ourselves sometimes in situations we fear the most,

Situations we promise ourselves will never be in,

Like as if we are living a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Some may live their lives like that but never see it.

Others come to wake up one day and realize they feel stuck in their current life,

Unfulfilling job,

Addictions,

Loveless and toxic relationships,

Lack of money,

Or even having everything you have ever dreamed of but is still feeling unhappy and frustrated.

But as this little seed,

You also want to find the sun.

What is between you and your sun?

The mind tells us many stories that we choose to believe in.

You may have heard the saying,

Whatever you think you can or you think you can't,

You are both right.

The same mind that creates desires and aspirations also creates obstacles,

A lack of confidence and self-doubt.

But all of our thoughts are two sides of the same coin.

Which one is right?

Which one is wrong?

Is there anything really right or wrong?

If this seed had a mind,

You would tell her that she's buried but in reality she's planted.

What is your mind telling you?

The seed cannot force itself to grow.

The seed stays still,

Nourishing itself from its surrounding.

Right now you may not notice but your surroundings are feeding you with what you need to grow.

There may be pain,

There may be sorrow,

But have you learned what you need to learn from this stage in your life?

Ask yourself,

What do I need to take from this experience,

This current life situation to help me grow?

Sit in that quiet corner of your mind,

Beyond judgment,

Beyond the ideas of good or bad,

Right or wrong.

Just be present in the body and trust that in this moment you will receive what needs to be received,

You will learn what needs to be learned.

And breathe into your heart.

Know that you too deserve to see the sun,

That you are protected and cared for,

That even though you may feel lonely at times,

You are never alone.

Let the emotions come,

Whatever you may be hiding within your heart,

Let it come up.

It may feel like a little crack is happening in the seed,

But that is just the birth of something beautiful.

Let your soul whisper in your ear what you need to hear and you may laugh in the light,

I may scream in anger,

Just let it come.

Let all the tears you have cried be the food and water that nourishes you.

And see,

You are so much more than a seed.

You are the ground and the force itself.

See that now and feel the sunlight shining so brightly like a thousand suns.

It feels so peaceful,

So serene.

You are in the presence of grace.

You are an abundant being.

You are not confined to anything.

Those are just ideas from your mind.

Feel that now.

You are infinite.

You are love.

You are free.

Be well my sister,

My brother,

Myself.

May we together find our way back home.

Namaste.
