Welcome to this yoga practice for a little joules of energy.
Start in Sukhasana or easy seat.
Let your shoulders soften.
Take a breath here and arrive in your space.
Bring your left leg into your hands and gently cradle it,
Rocking softly from side to side.
Release and switch sides,
Cradling your right leg,
Giving the hip a little space.
And release.
Make your way into tabletop and take a few rounds of cat and cow.
Inhale for toe.
Exhale for cat.
Keep moving with your breath.
And then find a neutral spine.
Inhale your left arm forward and your right leg long behind you.
Exhale,
Elbow and knee draw in.
Inhale to lengthen.
Exhale to draw in.
Continue for a few more rounds.
And release back to tabletop.
Take the other side.
Right arm forward,
Left leg back.
Move with your breath for a few rounds.
And release.
Tuck your toes and press back into downward facing dog.
Walk out your dog for a moment.
Reach your right leg up and back into three-legged dog.
Bend the knee and open the hip.
Square your hips and step your right foot to the outside of your right hand for lizard pose.
Stay up on your hands and move around a little if that feels good.
Rocking side to side or back and forth.
Then find stillness.
Step back into Downward Facing Dog.
Reach your left leg up and back,
Opening the hip,
Bending the knee.
Square your hips and step your left foot forward into lizard.
Again,
Take any movements you need here.
Then settle for a breath.
Step back into downward facing dog.
Lower your knees into tabletop.
Lift your left leg behind you with the knee bent so the sole of the foot is reaching towards the sky.
You can stay here or.
.
.
You can reach your right hand back for your foot coming into a variation of tiger pose.
Open through the chest.
Take a breath and release.
Let's switch sides.
Lift your right leg behind you with the knee bent.
Stay here.
Or reach your left hand back for the foot.
Breathe here.
And release.
Send your hips back into Balasana or Child's Pose.
Take a pause here.
And when you're ready,
Slowly come back up for a comfortable seat.
Notice how you feel after moving.
Take a moment here.
Thank you for practicing with me.
