Hello and welcome to this meditation to stop negative thoughts.
I would like to invite you to close your eyes and let's start by taking a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth maybe a few times if that feels right breathing deeply and slowly making each breath a bit deeper and a bit slower consciously slowing down the rhythm of the breath letting the body know that it is safe to be here today that it is safe to relax and starting to bring your awareness within to the present moment to the here and now to any emotions any thoughts any sensations that might be going on for you today and especially bring an awareness to any thoughts that might be coming up for you today but this time can you just observe them be aware of them without reacting without engaging without feeding them like you're an external observer oh there is a thought but i am not that thought i am just observing and as new thoughts come up just let them come and go like clouds disappearing in the sky like bubbles that pop up and disappear bringing your awareness to the heart space to the present moment bringing your awareness to who you truly are to who you are without those thoughts and can you just be present in the heart space with your true self without the layers without the thoughts can you give yourself the love the compassion and kindness you deserve continuing to breathe deeply and slowly and if any parts of yourself have a bit of resistance to let go of these thoughts or really have the urge to engage with these thoughts can you let her know that it is safe to let those thoughts go do you no longer need them and can you give her what she needs what that part of yourself needs maybe a hug maybe a bit of love maybe some compassion maybe some kind words maybe a bit of reassurance and bring her to the heart space so that part of yourself so that voice can feel safe and protected beautiful and continuing to breathe deeply into the heart can you connect with a deep feeling of gratitude bringing to mind a loved one a moment of your life something you have one of your skills something that makes you smile that brings you joy that you are grateful for and let the heart expand as you really connect with this feeling of gratitude gratitude is one of the highest vibration emotions so if you can surrender yourself for this gratitude to take over you are upgrading your system you're raising your vibration gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership the more grateful we are the more we receive being in a state of gratitude sends the signal that we already have everything we need and we attract more and more to our life continuing to breathe deeply and slowly allowing the heart to grow bigger and bigger and can you see how as you have been expanding your heart connecting with gratitude bringing your awareness we think to who you truly are without your thoughts those thoughts don't have that much power anymore you are in control beautiful and i start to bring your awareness to the physical body and starting to wiggle your toes your fingers slowly to make any movements that feel right to the body very slowly very gently maybe moving the head side to side rolling the shoulders taking a gentle stretch or a deep stretch if that feels right and when you're ready you can open your eyes thank you
