A poetic and fun Fairy Tale demonstrating how IT really does TAKE TWO (in nature, the things we use every day and the design of our bodies) to have a healthy, happy, well-rounded life, living in harmony at home and in our communities. Suitable for children of all ages. When children visualize internally what they hear taking place in a story, they are stimulating their imaginations and creativity in the most profound way possible. That creativity is the basis on which their future success in all areas of life is built. As Albert Einstein said, "If you want your children to be brilliant, tell them fairy tales. If you want them to be even more brilliant, tell them more fairy tales." Story telling carries blessings beyond blessings in ways that will blossom for years to come.

Aloha and welcome to Blissberry Bear's Fairy Tales of the Heart.

Today's fairy tale is It Takes Two.

As your child listens,

They can stimulate their creative abilities in the most powerful way possible by using their imagination and brilliant mind to create internal pictures of what's happening in the story.

According to child development experts,

This interactive combination is storytelling at its finest.

Joseph Chilton Pierce,

Internationally acclaimed author,

Lecturer,

And expert on child development tells us,

This learned ability to create internal images is one of nature's highest achievements.

The more imagination a child has,

The more options he or she has for solving problems and succeeding in life.

You can assist your child's creative process by asking them to share what they see happening in their imagination and even inviting them to express their creativity on paper.

You can express yours also.

This is just one of the many proven reasons Albert Einstein said,

If you want your children to be brilliant,

Tell them fairy tales.

If you want them to be very brilliant,

Tell them even more fairy tales.

So,

Let's get comfy,

Open the pages of It Takes Two,

Spark your child's creative imagination,

And light up their personal brilliance even more.

It Takes Two,

As told by Poet Bear,

Our two eyes create one vision,

Protecting us from collision after collision.

Our two eyes naturally blink at one time,

Day in,

Day out,

Throughout our lifetime.

Our two ears hear one sound,

Coming from noises all around.

Our two nostrils work as a pair,

Inhaling one odor,

One breath of air.

It Takes Two,

Me and you,

Upper jaw,

Lower jaw,

Open and close,

Together in one motion that flows.

So our two rows of teeth,

Sparkling white,

Can bite and chew,

Chew,

Chew,

Food through and through.

Our two lips,

Such a divine plan,

Forming one mouth,

So we can smile or frown like a clown,

Pucker or pout,

Whistle or blow air out,

Suck or sing,

Talk or do a trembling thing,

And whether kissing or pressing,

They are truly a blessing.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

Our two arms work together,

An ingenious design,

Quite clever.

Our two hands together as one,

Play a flute,

Peel a fruit,

With a bat,

Hit a home run.

Our two hands so precious,

Oh how they bless us,

Together in unison,

Pushing,

Pulling,

Praying,

Signing,

Patting,

Clapping,

Creating,

Fun,

Fun,

Fun.

Two thumbs,

One per hand,

Work in rhythm,

Like a rock band,

Together with fingers,

For they clasp,

Grasp,

And much more.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

Our two legs can hop together as one,

Or move as opposite pegs,

So we can walk and run,

While our two feet,

A carbon copy,

Perform quite a daily feat,

Supporting our one beautiful body.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

Supple spine of one,

Divides our body into two sides,

That moves as one,

Glowing like the sun.

Our one heart,

Divided in two,

Left and right,

Pumps our blood,

Woo hoo.

Two kidneys in tandem,

Filter toxins,

Allowing clarity in our two-sided brain,

So we can soar sky high,

Like a jet plane,

On the fuel of brain's endorphins.

Brain and heart,

Together,

A dynamic duo,

Creating one harmonious life,

They do.

Kudos,

Kudos,

Kudos,

For me and you.

Heart sparks inspiration and creativity.

Brain-mind put heart's desires into productivity.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

Ribs on each side,

Left and right,

Balance they provide,

Like day and night.

It Takes Two pedals,

One going up,

One going down,

To ride a bicycle around.

Two blades,

Sliding against one another,

With holes for fingers and each thumb.

Scissors,

Small or large,

We do call them,

Such a useful play-doh and paper cutter.

It takes two shoelaces to tie a knot,

So in shoes we can walk,

Run and trot.

It takes air in a balloon,

To float it high,

High,

High.

Two wings for birds and bees to fly.

Caterpillar spinning a cocoon,

Before there is a butterfly.

It Takes Two,

You and me.

It's so easy to see.

Mother earth and father sun,

Create a force of one,

Releasing the power in a seed,

To sprout into tree or weed.

It takes tree branches growing,

Left and right,

Up and down,

To create a canopy so nourishing for birds,

Bees and even a cow,

So brown.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

You and me,

A dynamic duo.

It takes moisture and sunlight,

To make a rainbow so bright,

Oh what a spectacular sight.

It takes the immense solar power of sunshine,

To create the soft glow of moonshine.

The moon on its own,

Is but a dark gemstone.

It takes supports to hold a roof of shelter.

Support of family creates a life,

Free of helter-skelter.

It takes a balance of water,

Hot and cold,

To create a cozy bath,

Feeling like liquid gold.

It takes rushing river water and a cliff so tall,

To create a spectacular waterfall.

It Takes Two,

Me and you.

You and me,

A dynamic duo,

Together a talented hero.

A fight creates two losers.

It takes a willingness to see,

About what the fight could be,

To create two winners,

Each one blissfully happy.

It takes one willing to give,

And one willing to receive,

To create a precious gift,

That will truly uplift.

It takes a window of openness to see,

Beyond a wall of beliefs.

It takes you,

It takes me,

Praising each other,

Over and over,

As mighty chiefs.

It takes two,

Me and you.

It takes one to truly listen,

For another to truly feel heard.

Then together we glisten in the sacredness of one another's word.

It takes two,

Me and you,

A dynamic duo,

Together a talented hero.

A talented hero,

Dynamic duo,

Sculpting a super tomorrow of exceptional equality,

Where all thrive in unity.

It takes two,

You and me.

With wishes for your everlasting happiness and peace,

With prayers for peace among all people,

And with great love and respect for your individual adventure through life,

PoetBear and I love you.

Thank you for being with me today,
