Let me first begin by Thanking you for taking the time in your busy day to slow down and make it a priority to take care of yourself. I learned this special meditation many years ago when I first began my own healing journey. What I love about it is regardless of where I am in my life it always helps settle me down into a more peaceful, relax place within myself. It is so simple! Anyone can do it! With consistent practice you will start to notice your relaxation will heal your pain and anxiety.

Transcript

Begin by taking a few soft,

Gentle,

Deep breaths.

And as you breathe,

Become aware of the breath coming in,

Filling up your body,

And out,

Letting go and relaxing.

See if you can extend your awareness in your body and even beyond your body,

Further into the space.

And let us begin this relaxation as we move through the body,

From our feet all the way up to the top of our head.

And as I mentioned that part of the body,

I want you to breathe in and imagine just with the power of your mind,

That part of the body,

Letting go and relaxing.

Most importantly,

Feel the tissues,

Feel the cells,

Feel the skin of that part of the body,

Let go and relax.

Now bring your awareness down to the feet.

Breathing in,

Feeling the feet opening up full of blood and life,

And out as you relax.

Now bring the energy back up to the ankles,

And relax.

Up into the calves and the shins,

And relax.

Now up to the knees,

Feel the knees soften,

Letting all the fluid,

The blood energy come into the knee,

Feel it with your mind.

And relax.

Now up to the thighs,

Relax.

Into the sit bones,

Tailbone,

The hips,

The waist,

And the pelvis.

And relax.

Now up to the lower back and lower abdomen.

Relax.

Feel the energy rising up to the mid back and the mid torso.

And relax.

Now up to the chest and the upper back,

Opening,

And relax.

Now up to the shoulders,

Dropping the shoulders down,

And relax.

Down to the arms,

Feeling the flow of energy move in to the upper part of the arms.

And relax.

Now continuing down to the elbows,

Feel the elbows heavy,

And relax.

Continuing down to the forearms,

Relax.

And into the wrists,

Feel them expand,

And relax.

Now allow the energy to go down to the palms and the fingers,

And relax.

Now bring your awareness back up to the neck and throat area.

Feel it soften as you relax.

Continuing upward to the jaw,

Feel it drop,

Unclenching anywhere,

And relax.

And up to the face,

Feel the eyebrows separating apart as the forehead opens more,

And relax.

Now to the other parts of the hand,

The back,

The sides,

And the top.

Feel them all uniformly,

Relax.

Now down to the mouth,

Put a smile on your face,

And feel the whole body,

Head to toe,

Completely relaxed.

Feel yourself like floating on the water,

So much ease and freedom of movement on the inside,

Like a nice,

Gentle breeze moving through the body.

You feel so calm,

You feel so centered,

And you feel completely connected to the universe.

Now feel in your heart that you are completely connected to the universe,

And the universe is connected with you,

And you feel that energy of love,

That connection,

Pulsating and moving throughout your whole body as you deepen even more into your relaxation.

Feel every tissue,

Feel every cell,

Every atom,

Every particle in your body,

Absorbing this energy as you relax even more.

Keep going deeper and deeper as you let go,

Even more,

Into the grace of this moment.

Now in your heart,

Feel every tissue,

Every atom,

Every particle,

Absorbing this energy as you deepen even more into your relaxation.

Feel every tissue,

Feel every cell,

Every particle,

Absorbing this energy as you deepen even more into your relaxation.

Now slowly bring your awareness back to the room.

You slowly begin to open the eyes,

Waking up the joints stretching and notice how refreshed and alive you feel.

Take a moment to recognize how you feel and acknowledge yourself for taking this time out of your day to nurture yourself and feel that connection as you nurtured yourself,

You nurture all aspects,

All relations of your life.
