Being grateful versus practicing gratitude.

Gratitude is one of the most powerful forces in the world.

It has the ability to bring us all together.

Gratitude transcends age.

It doesn't matter your gender.

It doesn't matter your race or color.

It doesn't matter where you're from or even where you're going.

Because at the center of gratitude,

We all meet as human beings.

There's a lot that we can talk about gratitude.

But the thing that I want to talk about is the difference between being grateful and having a gratitude practice.

A lot of people feel grateful occasionally.

Maybe when something is good or going good or happening.

Maybe when they receive something they wanted.

They feel grateful but practicing gratitude is different.

Let me explain.

Practicing gratitude means to intensely train your mind to focus on the good every single day.

It's like the difference between owning a book and reading it.

And then it's another level to read the book and apply it.

That's what a gratitude practice is.

Science even supports this.

Neuroscience shows that gratitude helps with neuroplasticity.

This is your brain's ability to rewire itself.

The more you practice gratitude,

The more your brain begins to look for the good automatically.

There's also something called your reticular activating system.

This part of your brain is what notice what you consistently focus on.

It's like once you get a new car you start to see that car everywhere.

That's because you have programmed the brain to intensely focus on the car and you'll start to attract more of it.

So when you intentionally focus on gratitude,

Your brain starts to filter out more things to appreciate.

The more you practice gratitude,

You begin to harness a magnetic energy that attracts more into your life.

And when being grateful becomes a daily practice,

That merge of energy becomes living in gratitude.

So remember,

A grateful attitude is living in gratitude.

Think about it like music.

You can hear a song once or twice and nothing really happens.

But when you listen to it over time,

You notice that you begin to sing that song.

This becomes a mantra in your life.

Whether you know it or not.

Eventually,

You no longer need to hear the song because it's already playing in your mind.

This is how gratitude works.

When gratitude stays on repeat in our minds,

It begins to subconsciously guide our decisions,

Our perspectives,

And our energy.

And whatever energy you consistently rehearse,

You begin to attract more of it into your life.

That's why it's important to practice feeding the mind uplifting things.

Because if you constantly replay negativity,

Heartbreak,

Fear,

Or lack,

It becomes the energy that you're continuously calling toward yourself.

Spiritually.

Scripture also teaches us that focusing on the good,

To ponder on the good,

To reflect on the good,

To make gratitude a practice not just a feeling.

Gratitude lives at the intersection of spirituality,

Neuroscience,

And universal laws.

So if you constantly consistently practice gratitude,

You will change your entire life.

I am Zantola.

Thank you.
