I want you to sit down on the ground or lie down.
If there's a wall near you,
Maybe rest your back against the wall or stand against the wall.
I want you to ground and feel the earth so you have some stability.
I want you to place both the hands on your chest or on your thighs and know that the earth is holding you.
You're okay.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh out the mouth.
One more time,
But we're going to inhale for a count of four and exhale for a count of six.
Deep breath in.
Exhale.
You're going to be okay.
You can do hard things.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh out the mouth as many times as you need.
Place the hands on top of your heart.
Know that this moment is difficult,
But it will pass.
This feeling of discomfort is just temporary.
This moment is fleeting,
Even though I know it feels like it's not going to end.
I'm here with you.
