Welcome to this guided meditation on being happy at work.
I'm Matt Mueller and I'm honored to be your guide today Let's begin by finding a comfortable position whether it's sitting or lying down Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and as you exhale Let go of any tension or stress you may be holding on to Take another deep breath in and as you exhale allow yourself to sink deeper into a state of relaxation And again breathe in through the nose Out through the mouth now bring to mind your workplace Whether it's an office factory a store or any other setting and as you do this Allow yourself to notice any thoughts or feelings that come up.
It's okay if you feel some stress or anxiety This is common when thinking about work But for now,
Let's set those aside and focus on what brings you joy in your work Perhaps you enjoy the relationships you've formed with your colleagues or the satisfaction you get from completing a project Maybe you find meaning in the service you provide to consumers or the impact your work has on the world Whatever it is.
Allow yourself to fully embrace those positive aspects of your work Just take a moment to embrace it as you focus on these positive aspects.
Let yourself feel a sense of gratitude and appreciation Take a moment to thank yourself for the effort and dedication you put into work and thank your colleagues for the support they provide Just take a moment to embrace and reflect on The gratitude that you do have now imagine yourself going through a typical day at work But this time with a sense of joy and positivity Picture yourself smiling and feeling happy as you go through your tasks Notice how the positive energy affects your interactions with others and your overall mood as you continue to visualize this positive Experience take a moment to affirm to yourself that you have the power to choose your attitude and mindset at work Remember that you are in control of your thoughts and emotions And you can choose to focus on the positive aspects of your work rather than the negative Now take a deep breath in and as you exhale allow yourself to come back to the present moment Wiggle your fingers and toes and when you're ready open your eyes I hope this meditation has helped you cultivate a sense of happiness and positivity in your work Remember to take these feelings with you as you go about your day and know that you have the power to choose joy in every moment Thank you for meditating with me today
