While this can be effective in moments that require swift action, it may not always lead to the most fulfilling or aligned outcomes. Decisions made in haste can sometimes lead us astray, disconnecting us from our true intentions and desires. This meditation invites you to cultivate a practice of pausing, allowing space for conscious choice and inner knowing to guide your decisions, rather than relying solely on automatic reflexes.

Before we embark on our guided meditation today,

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the nature of decision making.

Often,

Decisions stem from complex interplay of past experiences,

Emotions,

Societal pressures,

And immediate needs.

In the hustle of daily life,

We sometimes make choices from the hip,

Reacting quickly to situations without fully engaging with our deeper wisdom.

While this can be effective in moments that require swift action,

It may not always lead to the most fulfilling and aligned outcomes.

Decisions made in haste can sometimes lead us astray,

Disconnecting us from our true intentions and desires.

In this meditation,

I'm going to invite you to cultivate a practice of pausing,

Allowing space for conscious choice and inner knowing to guide your decisions,

Rather than relying solely on automatic reflexes.

So let's start the meditation.

Find a nice comfortable place where you won't be disturbed here for the next 10 minutes or so.

And just close your eyes.

And let's begin by taking in a deep centering breath.

Let's go in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

The next breath in through the nose for four seconds.

In through the nose for four seconds.

Hold it for a second and then out through the mouth for six seconds.

And continue to do that four seconds in,

Pause,

And six seconds out,

Out just for a moment.

When we breathe in this way,

We are telling our nervous system something is about to change.

It gets us to focus.

It gets us to take in new learnings.

And that's what we're going to do today.

So in for four seconds through the nose.

Hold it and then out for six seconds throughout the mouth.

That's great.

All right,

Now inhale deeply,

Filling your lungs with fresh possibilities.

Feel those possibilities going in.

And then exhale slowly,

Releasing any immediate concerns or pressures.

There's no decision that needs your immediate attention right now.

Just this moment of peace.

Envision yourself in a serene place,

A sanctuary of calm and clarity.

This sanctuary is your inner space of wisdom where time slows down,

Allowing you to connect deeply with your conscious thoughts and inner knowing.

Imagine this place,

This sanctuary.

And as you sit in this sanctuary,

Imagine a gentle,

Radiant light above you,

Representing your highest self.

This light begins to trickle down,

Filling you with a serene sense of calm,

Confidence,

And clarity.

Feel the light fill your body.

Right through your head,

Into your neck,

Into your shoulders.

Feel the warm light down your arms,

Down to your fingertips.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Feel the warmth of your body.

Driving a sense of calm,

Confidence,

And clarity.

Let this light remind you that every decision can be approached with mindfulness and intention.

Throughout the coming week,

Imagine facing decisions with a pause.

A moment to return to the sense of serene space.

In this pause,

You find the freedom to choose not out of habit or haste,

But from a place of aligned purpose and understanding.

Imagine facing those decision points this week.

And normally where you would react,

Pause.

Making that decision with mindfulness and intention.

Now I want you to breathe in this sense of calm,

And I want you to breathe in this sense of empowerment,

Knowing you have the tools to navigate your choices thoughtfully.

And then breathe out,

Feeling prepared to meet the week's challenges with a grounded and purposeful approach.

Breathe in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

And in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

So as you conquer this week,

Make decisions throughout this week.

I want you to hold on to the image of your serene sanctuary and the radiant light of your highest self.

Whisper to yourself,

I choose with intention,

I lead with wisdom.

I choose with intention,

I lead with wisdom.

I choose with intention,

I lead with wisdom.

Let this be your guiding mantra throughout the week,

Throughout the month.

It's a reminder to pause and choose paths that resonate with your deepest truths,

And not with a reaction that happens in a moment's notice from the hip.

I choose with intention,

I lead with wisdom.

With wisdom.

So remember,

Remember this sanctuary that you just built.

Remember the feeling of that warm light going throughout your body.

Anytime a decision that needs to be made this week,

Let this sanctuary trigger and appear to give you that moment,

That pause,

To really think out the decision that you're going to make.

I choose with intention,

I lead with wisdom.

And as we conclude,

Take a few more deep breaths in and out.

Feel the energy of your inner sanctuary and the light of clarity within you.

Can you feel it?

It's there.

Now gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Return to the present moment,

Carrying this calm and intentional energy into the rest of your day and week.

It has been an absolute pleasure to guide you through this meditation today.
