Begin in a comfortable seated position.

I recommend you either sit on a pillow,

A blanket,

A chair,

Or just the ground.

You may sit up straight or lay down.

Whatever is comfortable,

Start feeling rooted,

Safe,

And comfortable through your seat.

The goal of today's meditation is to help you put up an energetic shield to support your personal boundaries throughout the day.

Once you're in a comfortable position,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Inhale for a count of four and exhale for a count of four.

Inhale for four and exhale for four.

Continue this slow-pace breathing pattern.

On your next inhale,

Imagine that you are breathing in positivity,

Support,

And growth.

On the exhale,

Imagine that you are breathing out all of your fear,

Judgment,

And negativity.

There is nothing for you to worry about right now in this present moment.

Just focus on your breath.

All there is to do in this moment is to breathe.

If thoughts are floating around in your head,

Just be mindful.

Notice them without any judgment and then try to bring your awareness back to your beautiful breath.

If those thoughts are still lingering,

Just place them in a cloud and watch them slowly drift away for another time.

In one of the passing clouds,

Place any feelings you have of fear,

Judgment,

And negativity.

Watch each cloud gently float away,

Leaving your mind.

Feel any other tension slip away into a cloud and with each exhale,

The clouds move further and further away.

Remember,

You are valuable and can handle anything life throws at you.

Imagine that as you inhale,

You are breathing in a beautiful swirl of white light that is all around you.

As you exhale,

The swirl of light wraps around your body.

The light begins to fall and settle by your feet.

For each inhale,

Imagine the swirling light touches every part of your body,

Relieving any tension or stress that might be there.

Each time you exhale,

Imagine the swirling light with all the tension that it found falling and melting off of you.

This light starts in your toes.

Breathe out,

Let all the tension go.

It swirls up to your feet.

Breathe out,

Let all the tension go.

It continues up to your ankles,

Swirling around,

Releasing all the tension.

Up to your calves,

Notice any tension and exhale letting it go.

Up to your knees,

Exhale letting it all fall and melt off of you.

Your thighs,

Your belly,

Noticing on each inhale the swirling light touching every piece of you.

As you exhale,

It all melts off.

All the tension,

Anything that is built up,

Goes to your lower back.

It swirls up to your upper back,

Throughout your chest,

Swirling around,

Goes to your shoulders.

It follows on down,

Swirling through your biceps.

Exhale,

Let all the tension melt off to your elbows and your forearms.

Exhaling,

Letting it all go.

Your wrists,

Your palms,

Your fingers,

Releasing any tension you feel.

Let this white light swirl back up through your palms,

Your wrists,

Your forearms,

Your elbows,

Your biceps,

And your shoulders,

Releasing any other tension that you may feel.

It continues to swirl through your neck,

Maybe dropping your shoulders down your back as you lengthen your neck,

Releasing any tension.

The white light swirls through your jaw,

Allowing you to finally relax it.

Your cheeks,

The white light allows you to let your tongue relax so it is no longer pressed to the top of your mouth.

Your nose,

It swirls through your eyelids,

Your eyebrows,

Exhaling,

Letting it all melt off your body.

It swirls up to your forehead and it swirls all around your scalp,

Noticing any other tension.

Let this light run through your body from your toes to your feet to your calves to your knees to your thighs to your belly to your back to your chest to your shoulders to your arms to your fingers to your neck to your head,

Noticing any other tension,

Letting the white light swirl around capturing it all and on the exhale,

All that tension melts off.

Continue a few more inhales and exhales on your own.

Imagine the clouds that are up above start to part,

Making way for a stream of light to reveal itself.

This beautiful light is traveling through the sky to meet the top of your head.

As you notice this light,

The stream of light now meets the crown of your head.

This light is a source of your protective shield.

Notice everything about this beautiful stream of swirling white light.

How thick is the stream of light?

Is it just peeking through the clouds like a flashlight or does it cover the entire skyline?

Watch the color of this stream.

Is the stream any color of the rainbow or does it just stay white?

What colors does it change to?

Allow this light to change to become a glittery white soft light and watch as it beams and wraps all around your body.

It forms into an egg shape of light surrounding you.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now draw your attention to your crown where this gorgeous light touches and begins to meet your body.

Notice this light as it falls over you like a cover.

Imagine this color completely coating you from the top of your crown all along the curves of the side of your energetic boundary and enveloping the energy boundary underneath your feet.

This light goes from your crown down in front of your face,

Through your chest,

In front of your belly,

In front of the fronts of your legs,

Down to your toes and then it wraps under your toes,

Up the back of your legs,

Over your back,

All the way up to the back of your neck and your head where it meets again at the top.

Let this light grow thick over your heart area.

Allow an extra layer of protective to come.

Continue scanning your body and allow any extra light to flow to any areas that you feel needed.

Continue breathing as this beautiful glittery white light covers your entire body creating your energetic shield.

Start to bring awareness back to your body.

Envision the glittering white light flickering above your head.

Feel this protective energy swirling throughout each area as it touches it.

Your head,

Your arms,

Your chest,

Your back,

Your belly,

Your legs and your feet.

Bring your arms slowly up to your chest if you would like and place them over your heart.

Take a deep breath in for the account of four and exhale account of four feeling the protection over your heart.

Move your arms if you would like to give yourself a big beautiful hug.

Feel your protective shield all around.

As you inhale,

Imagine that you are breathing in positivity,

Support and growth.

As you exhale,

Imagine that you are releasing any tension that is still within your body.

Allow your shoulders to fall down the back.

I invite you to bring your palms together and rise them to your third eye by your forehead.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

When you're ready,

You may gently start wiggling your fingers and toes and opening your eyes as they flicker,

Adjusting to the light and feel your shield protecting you for the rest of the day.
