Welcome to this simple gratitude meditation.
Find a comfortable position.
You may be seated or lying down.
And make any adjustments that feel right for you.
And when you're ready,
Soften your gaze or close your eyes.
Take the time to connect with your heart.
Inhale and exhale as you breathe in and out through your heart.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
And as you continue breathing in and out through your heart,
Bring to mind someone or something for which you have so much gratitude.
And as you picture this person or thing in your mind,
Feel the felt sense of gratitude throughout your whole body.
And continue breathing in and breathing out gratitude.
As you hold on to the felt sense of gratitude,
Breathing in and out gently,
Softly.
As you continue breathing in and out the felt sense of gratitude,
Peace around you.
Feeling that sense of gratitude.
