Get yourself into a comfortable position.

Just take a deep slow breath in and on the out breath just letting your shoulders relax.

Just take another deep breath in and on the exhale you may even like to make a little sigh.

Just relaxing your shoulders even more and more.

Just relaxing the jaw bringing your attention to the top of your head.

Just noticing any sensations you may be feeling and just letting any tension go.

Just relaxing down into your forehead,

Your cheeks,

Your eyes.

Just letting your tongue soften.

Moving that relaxation deeper and deeper down your face and into your throat,

Down into your shoulders,

Your shoulder blades.

Just relaxing and letting your body sink more and more.

If at any time your mind starts to wander to any to-do list for the day that is okay.

Just acknowledge your thoughts and let them know that you will come back to them at a later time as this is your time for relaxation.

That sense of relaxation is moving further down into your chest,

Down your right arm into your elbow,

Your forearm,

Your hands and your fingers,

Down your left arm into your knuckles and all of the joints,

Down into your belly,

Your lower back.

Just releasing and relaxing any tension you may have been holding there.

Just relaxing and releasing it and letting it all go.

Moving down into your pelvis,

Your thighs and your knees,

Your calves and just feeling more and more relaxed.

Down into your ankles,

Your feet and your toes from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Your body is loose,

Limp and relaxed.

You are standing at the entrance of a cave.

You may like to step into that cave as this is a safe space.

As you start to walk into the cave,

Just noticing how your bare feet feel against the cave's floor.

Is it hard or soft?

Does it feel warm or cold?

With each step you notice the walls aligned with candles and with each step a candle automatically lights,

Illuminating your path and you feel safe and secure in this cave.

With every step you are going deeper and deeper into the cave,

Still feeling safe and secure.

Ahead in the distance there is a tiny light and you know deep down this is not any light from a candle.

This light feels peaceful and comforting with each step.

The light is getting bigger and brighter until you are consumed by the light.

This light is filling you with so much love.

It is a familiar feeling.

The light is all around you,

Filling you internally and externally.

As you look into the light you can see a shadow walking towards you.

As the shadow gets closer and closer you feel at home.

As the shadow comes to stand right in front of you,

The light that was radiating all around is now radiating through your heart and you can now see clearly that the shadow is you.

That light connecting both of you,

Both through your hearts,

A connection that no one could ever understand.

There is a bench in this cave and you sit with yourself and you reconnect.

You reconnect to the parts of you that you had forgotten.

Just asking any questions you may need answered.

Just noticing any feelings that arrive.

This is a safe space to explore and reconnect with yourself.

So just take this time to be with yourself and if yourself hasn't shown up that is okay as well.

Just sit and notice any feelings and thoughts that may arise.

You you you you you It is time to say goodbye to yourself.

You may like to thank yourself for reconnecting to any thoughts or feelings that you may have been shown.

The light that connected both of you through your hearts is now completely filling you up.

Filling you up with so much love,

So much compassion and so much joy,

So much excitement as you start to make your way back through the cave.

The candle lighting your way,

Really feeling yourself,

Your emotions,

Your thoughts.

Just bringing your awareness now back to the room.

Any noises inside the room.

Just noticing your breath,

Gently wriggling your hands and your feet.

You may like to stretch a little and when you are ready just gently opening your eyes.
