This meditation is for you.
You who are choosing to expand your family,
Trying to conceive,
Hopeful for the gift of new life.
This journey may just be beginning for you.
Perhaps you've been on it for some time.
If your journey to conception is creating heartache,
Anxiety,
Frustration,
Be here with me now.
This is a practice to help you to send yourself and your body some love.
Wherever you are,
Please make yourself comfortable.
If it feels safe to close your eyes,
Please do.
There is no right or wrong way to sit or settle here.
You've shown up and that's enough.
This process has its own way,
That of which you have no control.
Surrender.
You may feel as though you are an active participant in the journey to conception.
I invite you to shift outwards to see that you are more and more a witness.
Patience is your anchor.
Surrendering is necessary.
Pause here.
Observe your breath.
Practice being a witness to your breathing,
Watching it happen without effort or control.
Breathe.
What is it that you feel today?
Can you name it?
Is it a sensation somewhere in your body or perhaps an emotion lingering in your heart?
As you sit with the feeling,
Whether it be clear or hazy,
Just continue to breathe.
Honor the feeling.
Give it a little space to breathe to.
Then intentionally invite that feeling to release.
Give it loving permission to dissipate.
I'll give you pause for this process.
You can't wish this into fruition.
You can't will this into reality.
All you can do is intentionally be kind to your body and heart along the way.
Allow the process to unfold as it will.
Trust that this unfolding is part of your story.
I'm going to walk you through a few affirmations to aid you in creating patience and harmony.
Feel free to just listen and absorb or you can repeat the affirmation silently in your mind.
Take one full and intentional breath here.
I surrender to the journey of conception.
I trust that the way in which this unfolds is exactly as it should be.
I know that my body is enough and worthy of pregnancy.
I love my body and care for it with compassion.
I go easy on my heart and mind through this process for I know I am doing all that I can.
I am willing to reach out for help and support when I need it.
Breathe.
Continue to breathe.
Linger here in the stillness and just notice what you're feeling now.
If your mind is racing just witness.
Just let it be.
If you found some quiet,
Relish in it.
I invite you to place your hands somewhere on your body,
Perhaps on your belly or your heart.
Take a few more cleansing and intentional breaths here.
Invite self-love to swell through your palms and back into your body.
Let it wash over you.
Stay here for as long as you'd like to.
When you're ready you can allow a bit of movement to come back into your physical self.
Be gentle as you blink your eyes open and come back to the space around you.
