Good morning sleepy soul,
Welcome,
And thank you for joining me for this morning meditation with the intention of experiencing joy.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position to sit or lie down in,
Ensuring that your spine is straight.
Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths,
In through the nose,
And hold,
And out through the mouth,
Relaxing deeper and deeper with each breath.
Then in through the nose,
And hold,
And slowly release through the mouth.
Now let's bring your attention to the present moment.
Notice any sensations in your body,
Any sounds around you.
If you need to adjust to be in a more comfortable position,
Feel free to do so.
Now let's set our intention for the day,
To experience joy.
Repeat to yourself the following mantra,
Either silently or out loud,
Whatever feels more comfortable.
I am experiencing joy.
I am experiencing joy.
As you repeat the mantra,
Bring your awareness to your heart center.
Feel the joy emanating from your heart.
Allow yourself to feel the truth of this mantra.
I am experiencing joy.
I am experiencing joy.
If any thoughts or feelings come up,
Simply acknowledge them and return to the mantra.
I am experiencing joy.
Now imagine that a beautiful,
Soft rain shower of light is sprinkling down on you.
This light is the light of joy.
Feel the light of joy flowing over your body from head to toe.
Feel it wash away any stagnant or negative energy into the earth,
To be recycled into loving,
Healing energy.
Feel the light of joy soak deep into your body,
Filling every cell of your being with joy.
Feel the joy.
You are filled with joy.
You are radiating joy.
You are joy.
Continue to repeat this mantra.
I am experiencing joy.
And rest in this beautiful feeling of joy.
And when you are ready,
Take a few deep breaths,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And begin to move your body however feels natural to you.
Carry this feeling of joy with you throughout the day.
My soul honors your soul.
My light honors your light.
