Harveys Center for Relationships presents the Foote Caress Meditation.
This is Taya Harvey.
Welcome.
This is an opportunity to commune with your partner and awaken your sense of touch.
It's an adventure designed for your unique enjoyment and was developed to increase your body's capacity for pleasure.
The foot in many cultures is considered very erotic.
It contains 15,
000 nerve endings,
Each capable of stimulation.
Locked in shoes all day,
This arousal system may lack attention.
For many,
Someone touching your feet might be new.
Some may be ticklish.
See if you can breathe through the ticklishness to experience arousal.
Sometimes our ticklishness obscures our desire and sexual feelings.
Please breathe through this obstacle to heighten your pleasure.
You will need lotion for this meditation.
Have it readily accessible.
Decide who is going to be the active partner and the receiving partner.
Afterwards,
You will switch roles.
For the active partner,
Sit comfortably with your back supported against a wall or a pillow,
Perhaps on a sofa or your bed.
For the receiving partner,
Lie down resting your feet on your partner's thighs or a pillow.
Position yourself so your partner can easily access your feet.
For the active partner,
Apply lotion to your hands and begin to gently glide your fingers around the left foot of the receiving partner.
Now stroke the top of the foot from the toes to the ankle and back again.
Stroke your fingers up and down the foot.
Move to the bottom of their foot and press your thumb into their arch beneath the ball of the foot.
Move your thumb in small circles.
Change the heel of the foot,
Perhaps lifting the foot so you can access it better.
The heel can be dry and hard.
Soften their skin with a lotion.
As the receiving partner,
Allow yourself to be pampered and unwind.
Move your attention from your thoughts in your head to the sensations in your body.
What do you feel in your heart and under your skin?
Foot massages can help relieve stress,
Headaches and insomnia.
For the active partner,
Massage the ankle and the Achilles tendon that runs from the back heel to the calf muscle.
In a circular motion,
Rub the thumb on the Achilles tendon and around the ankle.
According to reflexology,
This part of the foot relates to the sex organs.
With your fingers,
Gently press around the ankle to relieve sexual tension and awaken the genitals.
Go easy.
Move to the toes and gently squeeze and pull each one,
Loosening and relaxing the toes.
Very lightly with your thumb and fingers,
Stroke the toes up and down and in between.
Slide your fingertips along the inner and outer form of the foot.
Now bring your awareness and your hands to the receiving partner's right foot.
Stroke your fingers along the contour of the foot.
Massage the top of the foot from the toes to the ankle and back to the toes again.
Repeat the motion and relieve the tension from the foot.
Now move to the sole,
To the area beneath the ball of the foot and press into the arch making small circles with the thumb.
Massage the heel and ankle.
Use the hands,
Fingers and thumbs,
Stroke and knead.
Gently press and massage the Achilles tendon and around the ankle.
For the receiving partner,
Enjoy being stroked and pleasured.
Notice whatever surfaces.
When you're able to surrender to the moment,
You gain energy,
Freedom and spontaneity.
Fully give yourself to this erotic ritual.
For the active partner,
Gently pull and squeeze each toe.
With two fingers,
Move in between the toes,
Glide the fingers up and down,
Up and down.
Each toe is loaded with sensuality.
In a feathery motion,
Trace your fingertips down the side,
Top and bottom of the foot.
Barely touch the skin.
Repeat several times.
This soothes the nerves.
Now this portion of the meditation is coming to an end.
Finish caressing your partner's foot.
Share your experiences.
What did you enjoy?
What would you pass on next time?
Perhaps you want to incorporate foot play in your sexual repertoire.
After your discussion,
Switch roles and begin the meditation from the beginning.
