A very warm welcome here and thank you for joining me in this meditation today.

Come to a seated position,

Close down your eyes and place your hands gently on your thighs.

Let's begin by taking a couple of breaths in through your nose and out through your nose,

Being really conscious of your inhalation and your exhalation.

Allow your inhalation to go deep and allow your exhalation to lengthen longer than your inhalation,

Activating the parasympathetic nervous system to calm down the mind,

Relax your shoulders,

Relax your belly,

Relax the muscles between your brows and bring a smile,

A gentle smile to your face.

Become aware of your body,

The gravity that is gently tugging and grounding you onto this land,

Onto this earth.

Allow your awareness to sink into the centre of the earth,

Allow the gravitational pull to bring your consciousness to the core of the earth.

As you travel deeper and deeper,

You begin to see a bright light in front of you.

This light becomes brighter and brighter as it consumes your whole vision.

Slowly it decreases in intensity and you find yourself in a forest.

You hear the birds chirping,

The stream,

You feel the moisture in the air,

You smell the crispiness of the air,

You follow the sounds of the stream,

You come to a rock just by the stream.

You get onto this rock and you decide to sit and close your eyes and just enjoy the beauty,

The essence of this place.

And then you hear a voice,

A voice that is coming from inside of you,

So soft and so gentle.

This voice says,

What if you didn't need to do anything?

What if you didn't need to know everything?

What if all you just needed to do is to be present?

It is okay to not know every step of the way.

It is okay to take it slow.

Allow the whispers of your soul to guide you.

To guide you into a new way of being that is in harmony with yourself,

With nature and with the universe.

Allow this whisper to guide you back home to yourself.

As you receive this message and feel it in your heart space,

You begin to open your eyes and head back to where you came from.

And as you leave this forest,

You come back into your body.

Take a deep breath in.

Descend back into your body.

Bring your awareness back into your body.

Gently move your hands,

Your fingers,

Your legs,

Your toes.

And in your own time,

You can open your eyes and end this practice.
