Today, meditation is treated in a secular way in the West, it now caters to a large audience of all ages. To meditate is to confront your thoughts and anxieties rather than hiding them with mindfulness. It allows us to relate to what surrounds us with kindness. No zen attitude therefore without a minimum of conscious relationship with the present, our body and the environment in which we find ourselves. Meditation is a simple practice that requires attention.
