Transcript

Join me in cultivating a moment of joy.

Make any adjustments that you need to find a comfortable seat.

Wherever you're at,

I invite you to close your eyes or make a soft,

Heavy gaze.

Place your hands in your lap.

Allow yourself to smile right now.

It might feel a little strange,

Depending on whatever your mood was before this,

But go ahead and put that smile on your face and begin to trace its effects through your body.

Notice any sensations of joy as you smile.

If you need to,

You can give your face a rest and then return to that smile,

Tracing it through your body,

Seeing if you can identify a source of joy in your body.

The lines of that smile tend to go to one spot in your physical body today.

There's no right or wrong place,

Just notice.

And when you've identified that place,

Breathe into it.

Send your breath to that spot,

To that source of joy.

Allow yourself to fill up with joy with each inhale and sit in this joy that you've created,

Knowing that you can take it with you once you leave this time.
