A beginner’s meditation to bring awareness to your limiting beliefs that are stopping your business from being successful. There is a little bit of pre work required to get the most out of this meditation. Please create a list of limiting beliefs you have around business. E.g. ‘To be successful I need to have a degree.’ Select one of these beliefs and then listen to meditation. This is a shortened version of this meditation.

Business Mindset Meditation.

So coming into relaxed but upright position,

Placing the feet firmly on the ground,

Allowing the hands to rest in your lap and if it feels comfortable for you gently closing the eyes.

We'll begin by taking three deep breaths together,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

So breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathing in through the nose and as you breathe out,

Releasing,

Relaxing and dropping down into this space.

Just allowing the breath to return back to its regular breathing pattern.

Now I'd like you to bring your awareness to the breath,

Feeling the breath in the body,

Finding your anchor,

Whether it's at the nostrils,

The chest or the belly and just focusing on the sensation of the breath moving in and out of the body for a few moments now.

Just following the breath,

Coming in,

Noticing the pause,

Following the breath,

Going out,

Noticing the pause and if your mind starts to wander,

Just bringing it back to the breath.

Now I'd like you to bring to mind your business mindset.

One of the mindsets that you've written down and bringing that to mind.

I'd like you to think about where have you picked this mindset up from.

Was it from school or family and friends and just noting where it's come from.

Now I'd like you to ask yourself,

Just holding on to this mindset serve my happiness or just holding on to this mindset serve my business.

Now I'd like you to ask yourself,

How would it feel if I let go of this belief,

Let go of this business mindset.

How would I feel?

How would I physically feel?

How would I mentally feel?

Now I'd like you to think about what new mindset program you could run instead.

So anytime this business mindset comes to mind,

What maybe affirmation or thought or mindset could you think about or run instead of this old program.

It is now time to return back to this time and space and in a moment you will hear the sound of the bowl and this will end our time together.

And once you hear the bowl end,

You can gently awaken the body and open the eyes.
