Majestic Mountain Meditation by Tanya Ho.
To begin this meditation,
Get yourself comfortable in a sitting or standing position.
You can sit down on the floor with crossed legs,
Or if you choose to sit down on a chair,
Just make sure both of your feet are planted firmly on the ground.
Sit up straight and roll your shoulders back and relax.
Let your hands rest on your thighs with palms facing down.
If you choose to stand,
Keep your feet at hip distance apart.
Stand up tall and roll your shoulders back.
Relax your arms by your side.
We begin by taking three long,
Deep breaths.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Again,
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale through your mouth.
And one more time,
Breathing in through your nose.
And out through your bowels.
I invite you to start imagining a beautiful,
Beautiful mountain.
It can be a real mountain in this world or it can be an imaginary one.
When you look at this mountain,
You can just feel its majestic presence.
You feel calm,
You feel relaxed.
You feel safe and deeply centered.
Using your imagination now to really visualize all the details of the mountain.
How does it look like?
How does the temperature feel like?
How does the air smell like?
I really get a sense of the energy of the mountain.
Which is powerful.
Very strong.
Deeply centered.
And unapologetic of its presence.
Take a deep breath in here.
And out.
On your next inhale,
I want you to imagine breathing in this majestic energy of the mountain into your entire body.
And as you breathe out,
Repeat this affirmation silently or out loud if you wish.
I am majestic.
On your next inhale.
I want you to imagine breathing in the power of this mountain and feel your entire being this beautiful and strong power.
And as you breathe out,
Just repeat this affirmation.
I am powerful.
On your third breath,
I want you to imagine breathing in the magnificence of this mountain.
Fill your whole body,
Your entire being with this beautiful,
Magnificent energy of the mountain.
And as you breathe out,
Repeat this affirmation.
I am magnificent.
Take a moment to observe how the vibrations of these affirmations and these words sit within you.
There is no right or wrong.
And there's no need to judge or fix anything.
You can always fine tune these affirmations.
To the words that you prefer or resonate better with.
Know that now you are this majestic mountain.
You are a powerful living.
Breathing being.
You are deeply connected to the earth.
And deeply connected to the strength.
Within you.
Whenever you want to tap into your inner strength and your inner power.
You could always come back to your majestic mountain.
Take another deep breath in.
Bye now.
Start to pay attention now to your feet and your body's contact on the ground or on chairs.
Pay attention to the sounds around you.
And bring your awareness back.
To the present moment.
And take another deep breath in.
And out.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
Thank the mountains for the divine presence.
And most importantly,
Thank yourself for your own divine presence.
