Hello,

My name is Tamara Patterson and I would like to take you through a simple yet powerful meditation suitable for all levels that will help you meet your higher self.

Now if you would like to get comfortable,

Sit in a comfortable position with your spine erect,

Your head slightly bowed to your heart and if you like it may help to sit on a cushion.

If you are sitting cross-legged to lift your hips higher than your knees and that will help you sit for a longer time.

Now closing your eyes down,

You just feel yourself drop.

Now take a few slow deep breaths into your belly,

Slowly inhaling through your nose and now exhale audibly to release and again and one more time.

Give yourself permission to be fully here,

Fully in this moment and give thanks for allowing yourself to be here and for allowing yourself to have this time to become truly present just for you.

Continue slowly inhaling in through your nose,

Into your belly,

Feel your belly expand and then contract on the exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Now I would like you to do a gentle body scan,

Just feel into your body to where there is any discomfort or any resistance or any tightness in your body.

Just notice,

Feel and breathe into that part of your body and you may like to say to yourself as you breathe into that area of discomfort,

Release,

Release,

Release.

Once again give yourself permission to be fully here,

Fully in this present moment,

Feel your body relax,

Let go and even melt like warm honey.

You may now like to set an intention for this meditation and as you let go even more I would like you to put your hand on your heart space,

On your heart chakra and with the next breath feel as if you are breathing into your heart.

Feel your own heart beating,

Feel all the sensations,

Feel the energy,

You may like to notice what is here,

What is real for you in this moment,

What is true for you in this moment.

Just sit with that for a few breaths.

I now want you to imagine that you are standing in front of a doorway to your heart.

It may look like a gate,

It may look like an ornate door,

It may look like any kind of opening but just imagine whatever comes to mind you are standing in front of your heart.

Is the doorway open or closed?

And I want you now to be ready to step into this doorway or gateway and step into the opening of your heart.

I want you to notice what is up ahead.

There is a pathway and what does that look like for you?

Is it light?

Is it dark?

Is it smooth?

Is it rough?

Is it dirt?

Is it in nature?

What does this pathway look like to you?

And bring all of your senses to this pathway.

What can you see?

What can you hear?

What are you tasting in your mouth?

What are you smelling and what can you feel on your skin?

As you continue down this pathway slowly and surely notice how you are feeling and what you are seeing and sensing.

Enjoying your walk down the pathway up ahead in the distance you see this magical tree alive and vibrating and I want you to walk towards the tree curious.

This tree is drawing you nearer.

This is the tree of life.

When you arrive at the tree you feel compelled to sit under the tree with your back supported by the trunk of the tree.

I want you to sit there in reverence and honor and notice mother nature and notice the vibration and the energy in your body.

You sit there in awe and wonder and you feel that something is happening.

Up ahead you notice that someone is walking towards you.

This is an energetic being of light.

What does this look like for you?

Who does this represent?

How are you feeling about this?

You may notice that you are full of unconditional love.

That this is a nurturing guide and this being sits down in front of you and takes both of your hands into their hands and looks into your eyes,

Into your soul and this is now an opportunity where you feel very safe and secure and your heart is open and you feel the need to ask very important questions.

Feel your heart open.

Feel the wisdom pour into you.

This is your higher self.

This is an opportunity to commune your deepest yearnings,

Your deepest feelings,

Your deepest questions.

Spend a few moments now to feel into the wisdom and guidance that this opportunity is presenting for you.

Feel the unconditional love and acceptance.

Now is time to give thanks and feel the wisdom and the love and the acceptance.

Now is time for your higher self to depart and to know that you can come back to this place at this time whenever you need.

Feel the anchor in your body for this acceptance and wisdom is there with you at all times.

Give thanks.

Thanks to Mother Earth and Father Sky and for all your learnings and for all your lessons and now it is time for you to take the path back towards the entrance to your heart.

Notice what inspirations that you may have gained during this time and as you slowly walk back,

Back,

Back.

You feel a deep sense of renewal and calm and inner peace.

You walk back through the doorway.

You take a deep breath in to your body.

You come back to your body.

You feel your body back in on the seat where you're sitting.

Feel the weight of your body.

Feel the sensations in your body.

Feel your breath all the way down to your belly taking another deep breath in.

You start to move your body in slow and gentle ways.

You notice how you feel and notice the sensations and of course when you are ready you open your eyes and notice how you feel.

Pause and give thanks and notice any wisdom that comes through.
