Hello my name is Shari and welcome back to Yoga Biyonasana with Shari.
This is a few minute meditation to set the intention.
This process is designed to help you to tap into your inner wisdom of your mind so that you get to set the right intention for this day.
The one intention that is right for you for this upcoming day.
If you're ready let's begin.
Find a place where you feel most comfortable.
Close your eyes and adjust your position.
I want you to bring your focus to your breath.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Through the nose with the air go down through the ribs and into the belly.
The belly then expands.
Then you just let the breath drop out of the body and ground yourself down.
Keep breathing in through the nose,
Letting the belly expand and out through the mouth.
Letting the out breath be a little longer than the in breath.
Moving on to a body scan.
From the crown of your head down your spine.
All the way down the limbs,
Down the arms and the legs and through the fingertips and to the toes.
Note if there's any tightness around the chest muscles.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
And set your intentions here.
Allowing the muscles fully relax.
And just by setting the intention know that this is done.
And as you breathe in and out keep releasing any tightness through the muscles.
Adjust your position if you need.
Now that you're aware of your body send your focus to your breath.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Observe the breath.
Feel the flow of air and notice the warmth of the breath and coolness of the air.
You don't need to do anything else.
Just simply be aware of your body and the mind.
Let the natural flow of the effortlessness of the breath.
There's no forceful inhalation or exhalations.
Notice what it feels like by just focusing on your heart.
Now gently draw your attention to your chest and the belly.
From your heart and back to your mind.
Notice right now you are present with your breath.
But you're putting in your heart with the essence of your very existence.
Notice what it feels like to be aware of your heart.
There's no pushing and there's no pulling.
It's okay the way it is.
Just know that you are present in this moment.
Right now I want you to focus on this upcoming day.
I want you to feel into it and ask yourself these questions.
What is my intention for today?
Pause and let the answer come to you.
Who do I want to be today?
What do I want to create?
What do I want to focus on?
Notice the answers flowing into you.
Observe.
Be open to receive the answers from the wise mind.
Your heart and your consciousness.
Gently open the eyes and write down the answers.
Have an amazing day.
